A partir de ese año, además de la cátedra magistral, durante la mitad del semestre, los estudiantes estudian la materia mediante talleres y audiencias con juegos de roles para familiarizarlos y prepararlos en el manejo oral de las audiencias, terna en el quees líder la jurisdicción ordinaria laboral. Como la mayoría de los estudiantes de pregrado no tienen experiencia práctica en el manejo de los asuntos procesales del trabajo, se diseñóesta cartilla con el fin de darles una herramienta de apoyo que les facilite entender el funcionamiento de los procedimientos judiciales en materia laboral y de seguridad social, y evidenciar cómo estos se completan o complementan con las normas del Código General del Proceso, y que de esta manera tengan mejores insumas para preparar los documentos y las audiencias que desarrollarán inicialmente en sus ejercicios académicos de las cátedras del pregrado y luego, en el futuro, en su vida profesional.
