Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: For Hardcover Copy, visit website: https: //atwar4justicepro-se.com At "War for Justice" is the book of the century. Brings to light the blood, sweat and tears from past generations that made this country great. The human suffering for the past 100 years due to wars and political unrest throughout the world. Highlights the status of our civilization and the future of our planet for future generations and us. The demise of a corporate giant, (Mot) from "Glory to Ashes" took 75 years to build and 15 to destroy. While the super powers, United States, Russia, China and nations with nuclear weapons are playing "Russian Roulette" with the development of more sophisticated nuclear weapons. We are heading for self-destruction of the human race. Our corrupt politicians are serving their own interests and not the interest of "We the People". Wasting taxpayers' money in the military builds up around the world and aids to other countries, while people in their country are starving. A judicial system design to protect all people, rich and poor regardless color, race, religion, gender, equal justice for all. Its justice for people with money, it is about a judicial system that you need to pay to play. It's about the ills of our constitution, our democracy, and our freedom that we take for granted. It's a matter of life and death, it's your future, do not stand back fight for it. Over the years, we have had thousands of cases where the law, as written, has been left to the interpretation to the judicial system, Justices and trial court judges. In many instances, the Justice and trial judges do not understand the laws. The trial court using precedents of case ruling, makes many decisions. This proves how incompetent the Justices and trial court judges are, due to every case is unique, has own characteristics, therefore precedents do not apply. In many cases the trial attorney that makes the most compelling argument wins the case. An individual without an attorney will be treated as "Scumbag", "Trash", will be dragged through the mud, humiliated by the courts which disregards him or her as a human being. In any profession, whether he or she is a judge, doctor, an engineer, an architect, an astronaut, plumber, general contract or any other, they need to understand the individual who is communicating with them. If the person on the other end is not so technically well-versed, they should use a language that can be comprehended easily. It's impossible for our legal system to expect Pro Se litigants to be treated at the same level as an attorney. Justice is blind, fairly administered, and equal for all here in the USA. Consent, impartiality, and non-use of force except in self-defense and defense of the mandate are the cornerstone of the UN Charter to maintain peace outside as well as inside the territory. Though all are supposed to be equal in the eyes of the law, some of us are forced to wrestle with the incompetence of the judicial system.

Now, the rest of the world can know, too. This is the story of a layman's fight against a justice system that refuses to look out for his rights. Child Protective Services literally rips Bill's family apart, stealing his younger daughter Joanna. It all starts when Allicia falls in love with a boy she'll do anything to be with even if that means accusing her father of sexually abusing her from an early age. Seeking to build a case, investigators badger other family members to get them to come over to the state's side. A police report ends up being a preliminary brief on behalf of the prosecution instead of a retelling of the facts. Bill had to learn how to file motions and appeals. It's a lot of work, but he knows the truth, and he'll do whatever it takes to expose The Injustice of the Justice System.

Book excerpt: A description of my life, career and later struggles to prove the digital standards for radio and television are poorly designed, violate Sherman Antitrust laws and fall under the RICO Act. Also, I detail later suits against Mayor Bloomberg, Oppenheimer, Wachovia Bank and others who have obstructed justice.I am a United States Patent Agent and at 83 years old have litigated successfully against General Motors and Motorola, representing myself in the Southern District of New York, The Court of Appeals for 2nd Circuit and the Federal Court of Appeals in Washington, DC. Most recently in 2007, the Supreme Court supported my approach to obviousness, the basic reason why courts find inventions obvious and therefore invalid. I also disclose in this book the reason why the Guantanamo case must not be litigated in any US Federal Court. And the reason is all courts will order the plaintiff - in this case, the US government - to disclose anything the defendant requests. In other words if the government refuses to answer depositions and interrogatories the case must be thrown out and the defendant walks.

Book The Court at War

Download or read book The Court at War written by Cliff Sloan and published by PublicAffairs. This book was released on 2023-09-19 with total page 462 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The inside story of how one president forever altered the most powerful legal institution in the country—with consequences that endure today By the summer of 1941, in the ninth year of his presidency, Franklin Roosevelt had molded his Court. He had appointed seven of the nine justices—the most by any president except George Washington—and handpicked the chief justice. But the wartime Roosevelt Court had two faces. One was bold and progressive, the other supine and abject, cowed by the charisma of the revered president. The Court at War explores this pivotal period. It provides a cast of unforgettable characters in the justices—from the mercurial, Vienna-born intellectual Felix Frankfurter to the Alabama populist Hugo Black; from the western prodigy William O. Douglas, FDR’s initial pick to be his running mate in 1944, to Roosevelt’s former attorney general and Nuremberg prosecutor Robert Jackson. The justices’ shameless capitulation and unwillingness to cross their beloved president highlight the dangers of an unseemly closeness between Supreme Court justices and their political patrons. But the FDR Court’s finest moments also provided a robust defense of individual rights, rights the current Court has put in jeopardy. Sloan’s intimate portrait is a vivid, instructive tale for modern times.

Book The Politics of International Criminal Justice

Download or read book The Politics of International Criminal Justice written by Ronen Steinke and published by Bloomsbury Publishing. This book was released on 2012-05-25 with total page 160 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: To anyone setting out to explore the entanglement of international criminal justice with the interests of States, Germany is a particularly curious, exemplary case. Although a liberal democracy since 1949, its political position has altered radically in the last 60 years. Starting from a position of harsh scepticism in the years following the Nuremberg Trials, and opening up to the rationales of international criminal justice only slowly - and then mainly in the context of domestic trials against functionaries of the former East German regime after 1990 - Germany is today one of the most active supporters of the International Criminal Court. The climax of this is its campaigning to make the ICC independent of the UN Security Council - a debate in which Germany took a position in stark contrast to the United States. This book offers new insight into the debates leading up to such policy shifts. Drawing on government documents and interviews with policymakers, it enriches a broader debate on the politics of international criminal justice which has to date often been focused primarily on the United States.
