He also left behind a reputation as one of Wall Street's most shrewd, astute, and (some said) manipulative operators. Long before his adventures in finance, the future "robber baron" was a young man on the make in his native Catskills, working as a surveyor and mapmaker in his natal place of Delaware County, where he had grown up side by side with the future writer and naturalist John Burroughs. Originally published in 1856, when Gould was just twenty, Gould's History of Delaware County and Border Wars of New York is based on primary sources and original testimony from second and third generation settlers, many of them Gould's own friends and cousins. Teddy had it all, the looks, the money, the respect, and a big love muscle that Reginald would just die for. And for Reginald to win his heart was not an easy task.Overall, he had to stay focused to keep his mind on his court case and not to be taken advantage of in the showers. Nevertheless he continues to pray and asks god to have mercy on his soul.

Book excerpt: Abuses of power by the Sheriff of Delaware County, Oklahoma are nothing new. One news article, centered around a mass rape in the Delaware County jail, described it as "The Rape of Delaware County".In 2014, disabled veteran Ed "Hoss" Turlington shot Darrell Philpott, a convicted drug dealer in self-defense. At the time, the drug dealer had three felony convictions in neighboring Arkansas and multiple outstanding warrants for his arrest. However, the Delaware County Sheriff ordered Turlington arrested. Later, Turlington learned the drug dealer had what locals refer to as "snitch immunity", and the police protection that came with it. In 2017, the drug dealer earned his fourth Arkansas felony conviction (meth-related). Once out of jail, Turlington used his law enforcement training and experience to investigate the investigation. He retained former local Assistant DA Winston Connor. Connor was unable or unwilling to get Turlington's charges dropped. Connor failed to enter into the record the exculpatory evidence that was withheld from the Court by the Sherriff. He also failed to address the Prosecution's star witness' perjuries. In January of 2019, authorities charged Connor with ten felonies, including soliciting murder to a Delaware County cop killer and drug ring leader. Turlington waived his right to an attorney and presented the withheld and altered evidence to the prosecutor. Turlington also showed the prosecutor Philpott's perjuries and felony convictions. The prosecutor refused to acknowledge any of it. On 12 May 2019, Turlington warned on social media that he would post "true and accurate, documented and very embarrassing videos" of the prosecution team if his case wasn't "dropped soon". Less than two months later, and over five years after Turlington's false arrest, and the misery it caused him and his family, the authorities dropped the case. This was a case of corrupt law enforcement and abuses of government power that nearly ruined a man's life until he took matters into his own hands. This is a true story.

Samuel D. Riddle was best known for breeding legendary racehorses. His community legacy lives on through the donation of his estate and farm to create Riddle Memorial Hospital. Middletown Township has grown to a thriving community, and today most of the farms and open fields have been replaced with retail and residential developments.

Carved out of the wilderness in the 1680s, Springfield Township was formed as Quaker families seeking religious freedom settled the area. In a region roughly bounded by Darby Creek to the east and Crum Creek to the west, the early settlers shared forests with the native Lenni Lenape tribe. Just nine miles west of the port of Philadelphia, Springfield harnessed tumbling creeks with mills during the industrial revolution and provided the growing commonwealth with edge tools from Beatty Ax Works and fabric from Victoria Plush Mill. Builders used abundant stone quarries to construct grand homes, including that of the Pennsylvania Railroad's first chief engineer, J. Edgar Thomson, who laid out the famous Horseshoe Curve and Main Line to Pittsburgh. The construction of the Media Shortline Trolley helped Springfield grow, as did the Saxon Avenue Shops and unique developments such as Windsor Circle and Rolling Road.
