Book The Universal One

Download or read book The Universal One written by Walter Russell and published by . This book was released on 2024-01-29 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Universal One" is a book written by Walter Russell that explains his new Cosmology. It is a must-read for anyone interested in Russell science and philosophy. The book reveals the possibility of transmutation of the elements and unites spiritual cause and scientifically observable effect in a seamless whole. Russell later revised some of the content of the book in "The Secret of Light" and "A New Concept of the Universe". The book is a century or more ahead of its time and is now appealing to many people who are examining the nature of science and consciousness. The universe is a multiplicity of changing effects of but one unchanging cause. All things are universal, and nothing is of itself alone. When man knows this in measurable exactness, then he will have no limitations within those which are universal. The Universal One is Walter Russell's first expression of his new Cosmology explaining the Mind-centered electric universe. Though he would revise his theory somewhat over the years, this is the first and basic description of his new Cosmology. Lavishing illustrated, it sets out his views on God, the Universe, matter and Man's place in the world as he searches for a path to god. In this historic volume, Walter Russell first reveals the possibility of transmutation of the elements. This illustrated treatise is Russell's scientific explanation of God's ways and processes in the construction of the Universe and provides a guide for illuminating Man's proper way of living during the long journey to the Light of God.

Book Perdurabo Revised and Expanded Edition

Download or read book Perdurabo Revised and Expanded Edition written by Richard Kaczynski and published by North Atlantic Books. This book was released on 2012-04-10 with total page 724 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A rigorously researched biography of the founder of modern magick, as well as a study of the occult, sexuality, Eastern religion, and more The name “Aleister Crowley” instantly conjures visions of diabolic ceremonies and orgiastic indulgences—and while the sardonic Crowley would perhaps be the last to challenge such a view, he was also much more than “the Beast,” as this authoritative biography shows. Perdurabo—entitled after the magical name Crowley chose when inducted into the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn—traces Crowley’s remarkable journey from his birth as the only son of a wealthy lay preacher to his death in a boarding house as the world’s foremost authority on magick. Along the way, he rebels against his conservative religious upbringing; befriends famous artists, writers, and philosophers (and becomes a poet himself); is attacked for his practice of “the black arts”; and teaches that science and magick can work together. While seeking to spread his infamous philosophy of, “Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law,” Crowley becomes one of the most notorious figures of his day. Based on Richard Kaczynski’s twenty years of research, and including previously unpublished biographical details, Perdurabo paints a memorable portrait of the man who inspired the counterculture and influenced generations of artists, punks, wiccans, and other denizens of the demimonde.

Book The Hidden Mysteries of God Space Time Love and Understanding

Download or read book The Hidden Mysteries of God Space Time Love and Understanding written by Tyrone Hinton and published by . This book was released on 2004-01-01 with total page 136 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In 1939 the pastoral calm of the German hamlet of Schladow in Poland is shattered by murderous ethnic warfare and the full eruption of WWII. His civilian father, uncle, and many of the village's young men being brutally slaughtered by Polish soldiers for the offense of being German almost destroys the souls of young Edgar Bueschke, his siblings, their mother and grandparents, but they adjust and regain a semblance of tranquility. Yet by 1944, troubles have escalated again and the Bueschke family decides to leave Poland for their ancestral Germany, even as that nation plunges deeper into its own hell of Nazi atrocities. By 1948, the dream of a cohesive life in Germany has proven elusive and a fiercely loving, protective mother resolves to emigrate with her children to Canada, where other relatives have already gone, instigating new, and re-establishing old, familial relationships. For young Edgar, his brother, Ted and their sister, Nelly, the culture clash of the New World with the Old is explosive. In many situations, such as at school, they are made to feel more like interloping strangers than friendly newcomers, even by peers who are only a few years past being immigrants themselves. Their mother, gratefully accepting menial work to support her family, enters into a marriage with an unloving, deceitful manipulator who almost succeeds in stifling forever her hard-won independence. But with their move to the United States, the Bueschke family's inner resources are reaffirmed and through their fierce, unflagging work ethic and pure joy of being alive and together, they prevail and achieve success and true happiness.

Book Why the Universe Is the Way It Is Reasons to Believe

Download or read book Why the Universe Is the Way It Is Reasons to Believe written by Hugh Ross and published by Baker Books. This book was released on 2010-06-01 with total page 240 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Increasingly astronomers recognize that if the cosmos had not unfolded exactly as it did, humanity would not, could not, exist. Yet these researchers--along with countless ordinary folks--resist belief in the biblical Creator. Why? They say a loving God would have made a better home for us, one without trouble and tragedy. In Why the Universe Is the Way It Is, Hugh Ross draws from his depth of study in both science and Scripture to explain how the universe's design fulfills several distinct purposes. He also reveals God's surpassing love and ultimate purposes for each individual. Why the Universe Is the Way It Is will interest anyone who wonders where and how the universe came to be, what or who is responsible for it, why we are here, or how and when the universe ends. Far from leaving the reader at this philosophical jumping-off point, Ross builds toward answering the big question of human destiny and the specific question of each reader's personal destiny.

This book was released on 2009-04 with total page 547 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A comprehensive guide to the history, theory and practice of Pow Wow, this book draws upon historical documentation, traditional methods, and a life of personal experience. Pow Wow, or Braucherei, as it is known by its practitioners, is a system of folk magic that has its roots in Christian and Pre-Christian Germany, but its character is wholy American - the quintissential American magical system. Drawing on quotes from the Bible, qabalistic principles and old gromoires, it is empowered by the Holy Trinity, and most practitioners consider themselves to be Christian, much like the Cunning Folk of England. The final chapter, about Doctor Santee, references material and uses a photograph that is copyright GLHoke, and used with permission. "The Red Church: The Art of Pennsylvania German Braucherei is the finest book on German magic to be seen in decades. Comprehensive in its historical, philosophical and cultural roots, The Red Church is a book that will be appreciated by academics and modern practitioners of not just folk and ceremonial magic alike, but also energetic and faith healing, symbolism, and cultural psychology. Extensively researched and documented, no one interested in the survival of Medieval and Renaissance magic into the modern era should be without a copy of it within easy reach." - Mark Stavish, Director of Studies, Institute for Hermetic Studies, author of, The Path of Alchemy, Freemasonry - Rituals, Symbols and History of the Secret Society, and Between the Gates: Lucid Dreaming, Astral Projection and the Body of Light.
