A vitesse de l'air constante, les mesures de concentration en solides et débit de solides ont permis l'identification des régimes d'écoulement. Un organigramme des régimes d'écoulement a ainsi pu être établi. L'étude hydrodynamique de la suspension a permis de valider les résultats présentés par l'organigramme. Trois produits solides en vrac différents ont été transportés dans une conduite verticale et inclinée, d'un diamètre intérieur de 31,75 mm. L'influence, sur le comportement hydrodynamique de la suspension, de l'inclinaison de la conduite de transport d'un angle de 18 degrés par rapport à la position verticale, a été mise en évidence. Un phénomène de ségrégation selon la taille des particules a été observé. L'étude du transport incliné d'un mélange à deux populations de particules a été réalisée. Le comportement du mélange, ainsi que celui des composants à l'intérieur du mélange, a été défini à l'aide des données de concentration en solides, vitesse moyenne des particules et perte de charge.

However, the perception of onsite or decentralized sanitation technologies for urban areas is gradually changing, and is increasingly being considered as long-term, sustainable options in urban areas, especially in low- and middle-income countries that lack sewer infrastructures. This is the first book dedicated to faecal sludge management. It compiles the current state of knowledge of the rapidly evolving field of faecal sludge management, and presents an integrated approach that includes technology, management, and planning based on Sandecs 20 years of experience in the field.
