Une première méthode ("ULB Wheeler Cap") est tout d'abord décrite et analysée grâce à différentes études et expérimentations afin d'approfondir sa connaissance. Enfin, l'élaboration d'une nouvelle méthode de mesure dédiée à l'ULB est présentée. Grâce à l'utilisation combinée de la Chambre Réverbérante à Brassage de Modes et du Retournement Temporel en mode impulsionnel, la méthode TREM (Time Reversal Efficiency Measurement), réalisée dans le domaine temporel, offre une mesure rapide du rendement d'antenne donnant une information large bande immédiate. Parallèlement, il est nécessaire de disposer de structures filtrantes intégrées aux antennes ULB afin de s'adapter aux technologies existantes. Une structure de filtre planaire, passif et de taille réduite, utilisant des éléments résonants localisés, est développée, intégrée et mesurée pour servir la conception d'antenne multibande et filtrante.
