Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: LA TENDANCE VISANT A INTEGRER SUR UN MEME SUBSTRAT, DES CIRCUITS MIXTES ANALOGIQUES / NUMERIQUES SERT DE MOTEUR AU DEVELOPPEMENT D'UNE CONCEPTION DE CIRCUITS ANALOGIQUES COMPATIBLE AVEC LES TECHNOLOGIES CMOS NUMERIQUES EXISTANTES. LE POTENTIEL DES TECHNOLOGIES CMOS POUR LE TRAITEMENT ANALOGIQUE EST CEPENDANT INFERIEUR A CELUI DES TECHNOLOGIES BIPOLAIRES. CONCERNANT L'ASPECT FREQUENTIEL, LE TRAVAIL EN MODE DE COURANT PERMET DE PROFITER AU MAXIMUM DE LA BANDE PASSANTE DES FONCTIONS CMOS EN EVITANT UNE LIMITATION SUPPLEMENTAIRE INHERENTE AU TRAVAIL EN MODE DE TENSION. UNE FONCTION DE BASE, LE CONVOYEUR DE COURANT, PERMET DE TRAVAILLER NON SEULEMENT EN MODE DE COURANT, MAIS AUTORISE EVENTUELLEMENT UN MODE DE TENSION SIMULTANE. DEUX REALISATIONS DE CONVOYEURS SONT ABORDEES. LA PREMIERE EST A VOCATION GENERALISTE, ET PERMET DE TRAITER DIVERSES APPLICATIONS, DONT QUELQUES-UNES SONT EVOQUEES. LA DEUXIEME EST ORIENTEE VERS LA MESURE DE COURANT DANS LES INTERRUPTEURS VDMOS MULTICELLULAIRES, DANS LE CADRE DES TECHNOLOGIES DE PUISSANCE INTELLIGENTE. UNE DEUXIEME FONCTION, FORTEMENT UTILISEE EN NUMERIQUE, EST QUASI-INEXISTANTE EN ANALOGIQUE : LA MEMOIRE. LE SEUL FAIT DE VOULOIR STOCKER UNE VALEUR OBLIGE A FAIRE APPEL AU STOCKAGE NUMERIQUE, AVEC LES DEPENSES DE CONVERTISSEURS A/N ET N/A ASSOCIEES. DANS UN PREMIER TEMPS, UNE STRUCTURE EEPROM EST VALIDEE SUR UNE TECHNOLOGIE CMOS GENERIQUE A DOUBLE NIVEAU DE POLYSILICIUM. LA QUALITE DE RETENTION OBSERVEE EST COMPATIBLE AVEC LES CONTRAINTES ANALOGIQUES. UN DEUXIEME CIRCUIT, REALISE EN TECHNOLOGIE SMART POWER CAPABLE DE SUPPORTER LES TENSIONS ELEVEES REQUISES POUR L'INSCRIPTION, DECRIT UN ASSERVISSEMENT DE L'ECRITURE D'UNE VALEUR ANALOGIQUE. UNE ETUDE EXHAUSTIVE EST MENEE SUR LA STRUCTURE EEPROM UTILISEE. NOTAMMENT, L'INFLUENCE DES CAPACITES A ARMATURE DIFFUSEE FAIBLEMENT DOPEE SUR LA PRECISION DE L'INSCRIPTION EST QUANTIFIEE.

Download or read book Contribution la conception de circuits int gr s analogiques en technologie CMOS basse tension pour application aux instruments d observation de la Terre written by Denis Standarovski and published by . This book was released on 2005 with total page 239 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This title presents the general principles of instrumentation processes. It explains the theoretical analysis of physical phenomena used by standard sensors and transducers to transform a physical value into an electrical signal. The pre-processing of these signals through electronic circuits – amplification, signal filtering and analog-to-digital conversion – is then detailed, in order to provide useful basic information. Attention is then given to general complex systems. Topics covered include instrumentation and measurement chains, sensor modeling, digital signal processing and diagnostic methods and the concept of smart sensors, as well as microsystem design and applications. Numerous industrial examples punctuate the discussion, setting the subjects covered in the book in their practical context.

New material also introduces replica biasing, describes and analyzes two op amps with replica biasing, and provides coverage of weighted zero-value time constants as a method to estimate the location of dominant zeros, pole-zero doublets (including their effect on settling time and three examples of circuits that create doublets), the effect of feedback on pole-zero doublets, and MOS transistor noise performance (including a thorough treatment on thermally induced gate noise). Providing complete coverage of the subject, Analysis and Design of Analog Integrated Circuits serves as a valuable reference for readers from many different types of backgrounds, including senior undergraduates and first-year graduate students in electrical and computer engineering, along with analog integrated-circuit designers.

Book Quantum Communications and Cryptography

Download or read book Quantum Communications and Cryptography written by Alexander V. Sergienko and published by CRC Press. This book was released on 2018-10-03 with total page 248 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: All current methods of secure communication such as public-key cryptography can eventually be broken by faster computing. At the interface of physics and computer science lies a powerful solution for secure communications: quantum cryptography. Because eavesdropping changes the physical nature of the information, users in a quantum exchange can easily detect eavesdroppers. This allows for totally secure random key distribution, a central requirement for use of the one-time pad. Since the one-time pad is theoretically proven to be undecipherable, quantum cryptography is the key to perfect secrecy. Quantum Communications and Cryptography is the first comprehensive review of the past, present, and potential developments in this dynamic field. Leading expert contributors from around the world discuss the scientific foundations, experimental and theoretical developments, and cutting-edge technical and engineering advances in quantum communications and cryptography. The book describes the engineering principles and practical implementations in a real-world metropolitan network as well as physical principles and experimental results of such technologies as entanglement swapping and quantum teleportation. It also offers the first detailed treatment of quantum information processing with continuous variables. Technologies include both free-space and fiber-based communications systems along with the necessary protocols and information processing approaches. Bridging the gap between physics and engineering, Quantum Communications and Cryptography supplies a springboard for further developments and breakthroughs in this rapidly growing area.

Book TOF Range Imaging Cameras

Download or read book TOF Range Imaging Cameras written by Fabio Remondino and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2013-04-09 with total page 243 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Today the cost of solid-state two-dimensional imagers has dramatically dropped, introducing low cost systems on the market suitable for a variety of applications, including both industrial and consumer products. However, these systems can capture only a two-dimensional projection (2D), or intensity map, of the scene under observation, losing a variable of paramount importance, i.e., the arrival time of the impinging photons. Time-Of-Flight (TOF) Range-Imaging (TOF) is an emerging sensor technology able to deliver, at the same time, depth and intensity maps of the scene under observation. Featuring different sensor resolutions, RIM cameras serve a wide community with a lot of applications like monitoring, architecture, life sciences, robotics, etc. This book will bring together experts from the sensor and metrology side in order to collect the state-of-art researchers in these fields working with RIM cameras. All the aspects in the acquisition and processing chain will be addressed, from recent updates concerning the photo-detectors, to the analysis of the calibration techniques, giving also a perspective onto new applications domains.
