Download or read book Etude du comportement m canique des massifs rocheux fractur s en blocs m thode l quilibre limite written by Marwan Asof and published by . This book was released on 1991 with total page 282 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: LE CREUSEMENT D'UNE EXCAVATION EN MASSIF ROCHEUX DANS LEQUEL LA PRESENCE DE DISCONTINUITES (FRACTURES) EST IMPORTANTE PERMET AUX BLOCS AUTOUR DE CELLE-CI DE TOMBER VERS LE VIDE. LE TRAVAIL EFFECTUE CONCERNE DONC LA MODELISATION DU COMPORTEMENT MECANIQUE DES MASSIFS ROCHEUX FRACTURES A PARTIR DE LA MODELISATION GEOMETRIQUE ISSUE DE RESOBLOK: BASE DE DEPART. CE TRAVAIL PEUT ETRE DECOMPOSE EN TROIS PARTIES. DANS LA PREMIERE PARTIE, NOUS ABORDERONS L'ELABORATION DES METHODOLOGIES ACTUELLES D'ANALYSE DE STABILITY EN MILIEU DISCONTINU. DEUX TECHNIQUES D'ETUDE DE BLOCS ISOLES FONDEES SUR L'ANALYSE DE L'EQUILIBRE LIMITE SERONT ENVISAGEES: LA THEORIE DU BLOC CLEF DE GOODMAN & SHI ET CELLE DE WARBURTON. LA PRISE EN COMPTE DE LA CONTRAINTE DE CONFINEMENT ET DE LA POSSIBILITE DU CHOIX DE SOUTENEMENT AVEC BOULONNAGE A EGALEMENT ETE DEVELOPPEE POUR QU'ELLE SOIT BIEN ADAPTEE A LEURS FORMULATIONS. LA SECONDE PARTIE PORTERA SUR LES ASPECTS RELATIFS AU CHOIX DES METHODES PROPOSEES, COMPTE TENU DE LA BASE DES DONNEES DES BLOCS, ET A LA REALISATION DU LOGICIEL BSA EN AVAL DE RESOBLOK. ENFIN, NOUS PRESENTERONS LES DIFFERENTES APPLICATIONS DE LA METHODOLOGIE DEVELOPPEE SUR LES CAS CONCRETS: MINE A CIEL OUVERT, CAVITE DE GRANDES DIMENSIONS ET GALERIE MINIERE A GRANDE PROFONDEUR. CES APPLICATIONS MONTRENT LE ROLE POSITIF DES MODELES DE BLOCS POUR CE QUI CONCERNE LA DESCRIPTION DES PHENOMENES ET LEUR COMPREHENSION.

Book La fragmentation naturelle des massifs rocheux

Download or read book La fragmentation naturelle des massifs rocheux written by Luc Empereur-Mot and published by . This book was released on 2006 with total page pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Mineral and Thermal Groundwater Resources

Download or read book Mineral and Thermal Groundwater Resources written by M. Albu and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2012-12-06 with total page 460 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Is it not generally believed that our town is a healthy place . . . a place highly com mended on this score both for the sick andfor the healthy? . . And then these Baths - the so-called 'artery' of the town, or the 'nerve centre' . . . Do you know what they are in reality, these great and splendid and glorious Baths that have cost so much money? . . A most serious danger to health! All that filth up in Melledal, where there's such an awful stench - it's all seeping into the pipes that lead to the pump-room! Henrik Ibsen, An Enemy of the People, 1882 Henrik Ibsen gave the 'truth about mineral water' more than 100 years ago in An Enemy of the People. His examples came not from the decadent bathing spas of Bohemia or Victorian Britain, but from the very edge of polite society, subarctic Norway! His masterpiece illustrates the central role that groundwaters and, in particular, mineral waters have played in the history of humanity: their economic importance for towns, their magnetism for pilgrims searching for cures, the political intrigues, the arguments over purported beneficent or maleficent health effects and, finally, their contami nation by anthropogenic activity, in Ibsen's case by wastes from a tannery. This book addresses the occurrence, properties and uses of mineral and thermal groundwaters. The use of these resources for heating, personal hygiene, curative and recreational purposes is deeply integrated in the history of civilization.
