Book Compounds with Bonds between Tin and Transition Metals of Groups VIII I and II

Download or read book Compounds with Bonds between Tin and Transition Metals of Groups VIII I and II written by Herbert Schumann and published by Springer. This book was released on 1995-03-30 with total page 304 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Part 22 concludes the description of mononuclear organotin compounds containing bonds between tin and a transition metal. The Group-VIII compounds occupy the largest portion of this volume and are subdivided into the subgroups of iron, cobalt, and nickel. The molecular structure of many of these compounds has been elucidated in addition to the standard spectroscopic methods. Compounds of copper, silver, and gold, although virtually unknown, are included in the present volume, since several organotin cuprates have been prepared intermediately and used in situ as regio- and stereoselective reagents in organic chemistry.

Book Compounds of Transition Metals

Download or read book Compounds of Transition Metals written by Michael Dub and published by Springer. This book was released on 2013-12-01 with total page 845 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The aim of this Compilation has been to provide a comprehensive, non critical source of information concerning organometallic compounds. The scope is limited to the compounds containing at least one carbon-metal bond. The information includes methods of preparation, properties, chemical reactions and applications. The First Edition comprised the literature from 1937 to 1958. The Second Edition is completely revised and extended through 1964. The literature prior to 1937 was thoroughly covered by E. Krause and A. von Grosse in 11 11 Die Chemie der metall-organischen Verbindungen, Verlag von Gebrueder Borntraeger, Berlin, 1937. Our work consists of three volumes. Volume I contains derivatives of the transition metals of Groups III through VIII of the Periodic Table. Volume II contains derivatives of germanium, tin and lead. Volume Ill contains derivatives of arsenic, antimony and bismuth. The Compilation is based on searches through Chemical Abstracts. The collection of references for 1964 was completed before the Subject Indexes to Volumes 60 and 61 of the Abstracts were available; thus some omissions in the coverage of that year are possible. We have attempted to make the coverage of the literature complete in order that the Compilation may have best utility to the chemist, chemical engineer, patent attorney and editor. In the interest of brevity, certain numerical data are omitted, but references to the original literature are given. Yield data are rounded to two significant figures. Wherever possible, tables have been used. The entries in the Bibliography section include references to Chemical Abstracts.

Book Compounds of the Transition Elements Involving Metal Metal Bonds

Download or read book Compounds of the Transition Elements Involving Metal Metal Bonds written by D. L. Kepert and published by Elsevier. This book was released on 2016-06-06 with total page 177 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Compounds of the Transition Elements Involving Metal-Metal Bonds focuses on compounds of the transition elements involving metal-metal bonds. Emphasis is on metal-metal bonds in coordination compounds and organometallic complexes, halides, and oxides. Factors that influence the formation, stability, and properties of such compounds, as well as their application in various fields of chemistry and physics, are discussed. This book is divided into four sections and begins with a classification of metal-metal bonds and some of the physical and chemical methods used to study them, including X-ray crystallography, magnetic susceptibility and electron spin resonance, nuclear spin resonance, Mössbauer measurements, infrared and Raman spectroscopy, visible and ultraviolet spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, electrical conductivity, electrochemistry, and chemical reactivity. Factors influencing the strength of metal-metal bonds in metals and compounds are also examined. The remaining sections deal with metal-metal bonds in coordination compounds and organometallic complexes, halides, and oxides. This monograph will be a useful resource for inorganic chemists.

Book Compounds with Bonds between Tin and Transition Metals of Groups III to VII

Download or read book Compounds with Bonds between Tin and Transition Metals of Groups III to VII written by Herbert Schumann and published by Springer. This book was released on 1994-06-01 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Volume 21 describes mononuclear organotin compounds containing bonds between tin and transition metals of Groups III to VII; it includes a few compounds with tin-lanthanide and tin-actinide bonds. Compounds with Sn-Cr, Sn-Mo, Sn-W, and Sn-Mn bonds are most numerous and occupy a large portion of the volume. Many molecular structures are displayed to illustrate the geometry of -bonded organotin units and in several cases also the more complex bonding between the tin and transition metal moieties. All compounds ever reported are included in the present volume. If a compound was earlier described within the Gmelin series on organometallic compounds of the transition metals, reference to the respective location is made and new information is added when available in the literature.
