Download or read book Come Dance with Me Through Words of Thoughts written by Kaltrina Ventimiglia and published by Strategic Book Publishing & Rights Agency. This book was released on 2014-12-11 with total page 99 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Live life through the truth inside you. Don’t let shadows of challenge take away the light that you are born with it. Use your kindness that sleeps inside your heart, sun, moon, stars, and rain, because these are part of you. Remember … life begins by loving your soul. Most of my poems are spiritual, and some of them may sound like a message, but they all have one purpose: Readers should find themselves somewhere inside those lines and be able to see their own emotions, or be able to understand others. This way they can share, because in life we are supposed to learn from each other’s experiences, without any reservations or judgment. We live in such a fast pace that we don’t have time anymore to think about the simple and basic things of life. In this book, I have some poems that remind us that we need to stop for a moment and look around us, so we can stay in touch with ourselves. From time to time it’s good to get away from everything. Just grab this book to try to slow down time for ourselves. Reading poems is like healing your soul. You never know when somebody else’s emotion can open doors for your own soul to reach for. And that’s why I want my readers to be able to read the poems with a smile on their face and say, “Yes, I’m ready for my next day” and “I see a good one is coming tomorrow.”

Book excerpt: Since the age of thirteen, Christabel Alderton has been troubled by a sort of second sight that works sometimes, but not always. Death is much on her mind because the men in her life tend to die before their time and she's come to think she's bad luck. Fascinated by Christabel, diabetologist Elias Newman is keen to know her better but she's afraid of what might happen. Taking the reader from the River Lea via a haunted woodland bog, out to the crash of the Pacific surf on Kahakuloa Head in the Hawaiian Islands, this is Russell Hoban at his engrossing, inimitable best.

The princess laughed without a care, danced as if there was no tomorrow, and let the elation of those around her lower her usually high walls. But in Averie's world, happiness and peace are just beautifully constructed illusions. When an enemy crashes the party, a bloodbath ensues that threatens her kingdom—and her friends. As Averie struggles to save the ones she can, it takes only a single misstep to bring her to her knees. As Averie contends with her insurmountable grief, can she still be the princess that her people expect?

Download or read book Heartlight written by K. Michael Curcuru and published by Balboa Press. This book was released on 2017-01-27 with total page 156 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Foreword Heartlight This book will change your relationship with reality. K. Michael Curcuru bestows enlightenment in a book. What you hold in your hands doesnt just have words about light. It conveys light. This book is a touchstone. Get into it. Let it wash over you. Read aloud the exquisite passages, and relish the sparkling energy that enfolds you. This is a new literary genre: stream-of-light-consciousness writing. When I began reading Heartlight, my recovering English teacher started sputtering, Oh dear, thats what hes using as a verb? Then the beauty and flow of the book moved me into a different way of being with it. Michael really does see the world as hes written it here. He embodies radiant light. And this book imparts transformation just as Michael doesenergetically speaking because Michael is that light. He has discovered a way of gifting an enlightened level of being to you by experiencing his book. Heartlight is an energetic field. Like a magnetic field realigns poles of iron filings, you will find yourself feeling lighter, expanded, and more open-hearted and self-loving when you spend time in this book. You will absorb this book at a subatomic level. Avoid seeking the sentence structure Newtonian method. Let your right brain fall in love with this book. Use the creative, fluid, random part of you that senses wholeness rather than constructs it. As you drop into this book, you may find yourself swept away, poised on the crest of a word wave. Awash in alluring alliteration, you ask, From whence did I come? You can find your way home, Dorothy, by remembering. Heartlight is about how to be the light in the Illusion; it is how to find the light, trust the light, and be cradled by the light. As Michael would say, In-Joy!
