At the same time the Deputy Keeper gave to the William Salt Library five back volumes of the Rolls Series of which he happened to have a surplus supply, as a return for the Annual Volumes of our Transactions which he had received beforehand. Two volumes of Patent Rolls, 1429 - 1441, have already been received by the Library under this arrangement, and reviews Of them by Mr. Wedgwood will appear in our volume for 1908.
