It is applicable in England, Wales and Scotland. These duties changed in September 2006, as a result of S.I. 2006/1721 (ISBN 9780110747804), in order to implement the European Employment Framework Directive (2000/78/EC) in relation to vocational training in the further and higher education sectors. It explores the notion of the anticipatory reasonable adjustment duty - a notion which is, in many respects, distinctively British.
