Book Alien Experiences

Download or read book Alien Experiences written by Nadine Lalich and published by Nadine Lalich. This book was released on 2020-09-03 with total page 222 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Many current and ancient sources suggest that UFOs and extraterrestrial beings have been visiting the earth and interacting with humans for thousands of years. If this is true, monumental implications arise regarding the origin and evolution of humanity and the future of our planet. This book discusses the highly controversial subject of alien contact and abduction, recounting twenty-five cases of close encounter. The cases included have been selected from the files of psychotherapist, Barbara Lamb, who has been working with abductees since 1991. In her work with 560 individuals, more than 1,800 regressions have revealed encounters with what appear to be non-human life forms. Although extraterrestrial contact is difficult to prove scientifically, the events described in this book are accurate in that they have been presented as they were described by the individuals who experienced them. These are normal men and women living average, responsible lives who have been subjected to extremely unusual events. These individuals display such a compelling sincerity and marked emotional response to their strange experiences there can be no doubt they have experienced some kind of extraordinary event. As a reader, you may be curious about the subject, or you may be a confirmed skeptic. You may also be someone who is investigating unusual occurrences in your own life. Whatever the case may be, if with an open mind you will simply consider the possibilities inferred by the cases described herein, you might find yourself on the road to a greater vision of reality.

Book The Halakhah Volume 1 Part 1

Download or read book The Halakhah Volume 1 Part 1 written by Jacob Neusner and published by BRILL. This book was released on 2021-11-15 with total page 647 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Halakhah embodies the complete Jewish Law, and contains commandments and guidelines for day-to-day living. The original commandments given by God to the Jewish people were enhanced by rabbis to offer a detailed framework to guide the lives of all Jews. In this complete, all-encompassing encyclopaedia of the Halakhah, the various laws are classified in such a way that a systematic and coherent structure is obtained. Each entry of the Halakhah is presented in a logical fashion. Where applicable, the original biblical wording is given, extended with literal abstracts from the Torah. Next, problems and questions that may arise from that law are stated and any additional information given. Finally, each entry gives comprehensive explanations and recommendations as to how these laws are to be observed in daily life – where to be and where not to be, what to do and what not to do, what to say and what not to say. The Halakhah, or standard Jewish Law, combines the Mishnah (about 200 CE), the Tosefta (about 300 CE), and the two Talmuds (about 400, 600 CE for the Land of Israel and Babylon, respectively). Volumes I and II contain entries pertaining to the Jewish people in relationship to God. Volume III explains how the Jewish people can restore and maintain their society in accordance with the Torah as it is explained by the rabbis. In Volumes IV and V of this study, we take up the life of the Jewish household in their encounter with God. The Encyclopaedic account therefore moves from regulating relationships between Israel and God to establishing stable and equitable relationships among Israelites and finally to actually living the Halakhah.

Yet it became the subject of an intensive twelve-month investigation that involved testimony given under hypnosis, extensive lie detector testing of witnesses, detailed analysis of corroborative circumstantial evidence, and exhaustive comparison with other such accounts. This enthralling text includes the most detailed description of any UFO abduction experience, Betty Andreasson's precise drawings of her experience, and alleged verification of all events associated with Betty's encounter.
