Letter for removal of records from background check companies. We live in a world that is filled with flaws and imperfections. Only God can judge another person's heart, but we are constantly being judged by people and nowadays our histories and any mistakes we have made - as well as things we didn't do but are reported as though we did do them - are readily made available to anyone who has a computer. Most often this is done for profit. Of course the time it takes to do the things needed varies based on all of the circumstances, but in many cases you can get your credit and/or reputation cleaned up in as little as 30 to 60 days or at least get most of it done that can be. Often times major positive changes occur in under two weeks with one or more of the credit bureaus. And regardless of the status on convictions you can stop unregulated companies from publishing or selling those records on the Internet, if you have any, in about 45 days. In the Law of the Old Testament debts had to be forgiven after 7 years. That principle is still in effect in our laws today to a large degree, although not entirely. Bankruptcies can (if not removed legally via credit repair) remain on record for up to 10 years and arrest or conviction records for all practical purposes can be accessed for a lifetime - which is why it's wise to get those convictions set aside or expunged or reduced whenever possible. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book guides individuals through the processes of removing negative items from credit bureau reports, on line background check companies - and in cases where that can be done walks them through the process of how to file motions to felonies reduced to misdemeanors, civil rights restored and judgments on convictions expunged or set aside - in the shortest amount of time possible and with the least amount of expense possible.Of course the time it takes to do the things needed varies based on all of the circumstances, but in many cases you can get your credit and/or reputation cleaned up in as little as 30 to 60 days or at least get most of it done that can be. While God gives those who follow him favor, it's only wisdom to take advantage of what is available, legal loop holes or not, to prevent the things mentioned above and abuses of the credit and/or legal system. Fortunately, with the right knowledge there is a great deal we can do in a system that often does harm in violation of God's moral standards and mercy. Also, because of human imperfections our legal system in America has always been one of checks and balances. God sent His son Jesus to set us free from our mistakes and sin, not to keep us in bondage to those things. This book is a wonderful tool for people who have these issues. You'll probably be amazed.

Book excerpt: Unoffendable, now revised and updated with two new chapters, gives you a concrete, practical way to live life with less stress. In our easily offended, cancel-culture society, learn how to replace perpetual frustration and anger with refreshing humility and gratitude. It turns out giving up your "right" to be offended can be one of the most freeing, healthy, simplifying, relaxing, refreshing, stress-relieving, encouraging things you can do. It's a radical, provocative idea: We're not entitled to get offended or stay angry. The idea of our own "righteous anger" is a myth. It is the number one problem in our societies today and, as Dallas Willard says, Christians have not been taught out of it. But what if Christians were the most unoffendable people on the planet? In Unoffendable you will find concrete, practical ways to live life with less stress, including: Adjusting your expectations to fit human nature Replacing perpetual anger with refreshing humility and gratitude Embracing forgiveness and beginning to love others in unexpected ways Newly revised with two brand-new chapters on forgiveness and what Hansen has learned since writing his original book, this updated edition of the bestselling book is a must-read for every Christian. In a humorous and conversational style, Unoffendable seeks to lift religious burdens from our backs and allow us to experience the joy of gratitude, perhaps for the first time, every single day of our lives—flourishing the way God intended.

Book Corporate Credit Risk Management

Download or read book Corporate Credit Risk Management written by Christian Langkamp and published by BoD – Books on Demand. This book was released on 2014-02-24 with total page 326 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The financial crisis has shown that a significant proportion of the assets held by large corporations are exposed to credit risk that must be managed. This doctoral thesis sets out to analyse the contextual and organisational framework within which these activities are set and the practices employed by professionals in the field. This analysis draws on a set of interview-based data from large corporations in Europe and Brazil, predominantly from the chemical, energy, trading, and general manufacturing industries. Due to their diverse natures, the subjects of customer and financial institution counterparty credit risk are treated separately, addressing for each the organisation of the function, data acquisition process, and IT setup recommendable in order to effectively drive risk management, including a review for the practitioner to analyse his or her processes. A final chapter with analyses regarding trade credit insurance, sovereign risk, and quantitative special items rounds off the text making it into a comprehensive treatise on credit risk management in an industrial corporation.

Book excerpt: You may think you’re too old to run fast, but you’re not too old to run well. When the lead runner starts his final lap in a long-distance race, the starter fires his pistol for the second time. This signals the start of the gun lap—the last chance to leave it all out on the track. “Gun Lap” is for men who are running their last lap. Or maybe younger men who are looking ahead to their gun lap, but want to live the rest of their lives with purpose and strength. This is no small thing. In fact, it’s a big deal, because we only get one chance at this life. The author of the New Testament book of Hebrews agrees...wrote, “Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us” (12:1 CSB). Perseverance. No word better describes the goal of this race…every lap…including the last one. “Gun Lap” will help you pay close attention to the strides you have left.

Book The Seminarian

Download or read book The Seminarian written by Patrick Parr and published by Chicago Review Press. This book was released on 2018-04-01 with total page 218 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: 2018 and 2019 Washington State Book Award Finalist (Biography/Memoir) • Excerpted in The Atlantic and Politico • TIME Magazine – One of 6 Books to Read in Honor of the 50th Anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.'s Death Martin Luther King Jr. was a cautious nineteen-year-old rookie preacher when he left Atlanta, Georgia, to attend divinity school up north. At Crozer Theological Seminary, King, or "ML" back then, immediately found himself surrounded by a white staff and white professors. Even his dorm room had once been used by wounded Confederate soldiers during the Civil War. In addition, his fellow seminarians were almost all older; some were soldiers who had fought in World War II, others pacifists who had chosen jail instead of enlisting. ML was facing challenges he'd barely dreamed of. A prankster and a late-night, chain-smoking pool player, ML soon fell in love with a white woman, all the while adjusting to life in an integrated student body and facing discrimination from locals in the surrounding town of Chester, Pennsylvania. In class, ML performed well, though he demonstrated a habit of plagiarizing that continued throughout his academic career. But he was helped by friendships with fellow seminarians and the mentorship of the Reverend J. Pius Barbour. In his three years at Crozer between 1948 and 1951, King delivered dozens of sermons around the Philadelphia area, had a gun pointed at him (twice), played on the basketball team, and eventually became student body president. These experiences shaped him into a man ready to take on even greater challenges. Based on dozens of revealing interviews with the men and women who knew him then,The Seminarian is the first definitive, full-length account of King's years as a divinity student at Crozer Theological Seminary. Long passed over by biographers and historians, this period in King's life is vital to understanding the historical figure he soon became.
