La première aborde les problèmes liés à l'utilisation du MEDAF lorsque l'hypothèse de normalité des prix n'est pas respectée. Ainsi, dans un premier temps, nous supposons que les prix sont représentés par des lois stables. Nous développons alors un algorithme de choix de portefeuille en définissant une nouvelle mesure du risque. Dans un second temps, nous nous intéressons à l'incorporation d'actifs ayant des profils de gain non-linéaire (comme les options). Nous proposons alors une extension du MEDAF, ou l'équilibre est caractérisé à partir des cinq premiers moments des lois représentant les prix. Dans la seconde partie de la thèse, nous traitons des problèmes de choix de portefeuille en temps continu, où les prix sont représentés par des processus d'Itô. Après avoir présenté le modèle de base en marchés complets et horizon fini, nous présentons des extensions possibles, en considérant un horizon infini, et une économie avec un système incomplet de marchés. Dans ce dernier cas, l'incomplétude vient de l'existence d'un salaire soumis à des chocs permanents contre lesquels l'agent ne peut pas se couvrir. Enfin, nous développons un modèle avec un horizon aléatoire. Nous étudions alors le comportement d'un agent cherchant à consommer et épargner pendant sa vie active en vue de s'assurer une rente pour sa retraite.
