After only eight years of marriage, my wife was struck down with breast cancer in the midst of a pandemic. I felt hopeless and helpless, and I didn't know what to do with our two children. God Did It is the testimony of the trials and tribulations my family experienced during this time. My wife was note only battling aggressive breast cancer, but she was also struggling to stay alive with a weekend immune system during the pandemic. As a caregiver, I had to overcome my own anxiety and depression to help my family. In our despair, we had to rely entirely on God, for He was our only hope. Sometimes God puts us through trials not to punish us, but to make us stronger.

Book Get Up and Live

Download or read book Get Up and Live written by Chuck Keels and published by Intelligent Design Press. This book was released on 2021-09-16 with total page 144 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: If you had told Chuck and Hannah a few years ago that they would find true love after getting diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer, and that their journey together would impact so many peoples' lives all over the world, they would have both laughed. Get Up and Live is the play-by-play narrative of how two Stage 4 cancer thrivers connected in divine circumstances, battled through a roller-coaster ride of cancer treatments, surgeries, and pain, and learned to face each wave head-on, together. The past five years of Hannah's life have challenged her both mentally and physically. Despite experiencing major loss and several spinal fractures requiring major surgery, her dynamic spirit and big smile light up the room. For most of his life, Chuck felt spiritually lost, having experienced a church upbringing that missed the most important aspect of Christianity: a personal relationship with Jesus. He struggled for years until he experienced a Stage 4 end-of-life cancer diagnosis. Jesus showed up and touched him, and redirected Chuck's passion and purpose in life, blessing him with Hannah as his partner and wife. As co-founders of Living Hope Cancer Foundation (www.GetUpandLive.org), Chuck and Hannah work to fill a niche that is missing in the cancer field: the healing power of a positive mindset. Their individual books, Hi...I'm Chuck and Faith Like Skin, were written before they met and have inspired so many people, with and without cancer. Get Up and Live is the sequel of sorts, telling of their miraculous meeting, and how Chuck and Hannah's faith has given them strength in their unbelievable journey. Whether through a short or long miracle, their purpose in this beautiful life is to get closer to Jesus and show everyone how to get up and live despite life's challenges.

Book How God Healed Me Of Covid 19 How To Build Your Faith

Download or read book How God Healed Me Of Covid 19 How To Build Your Faith written by Walters Gob and published by . This book was released on 2020-08-27 with total page 190 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ more than two thousand years ago accomplished just too much that the human mind cannot fully comprehend. Among other things he paid the full price for our healing, that is why the Bible says, Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. The killing of hundreds of thousands of lives by Covid-19 around the World is a big blow to the price Jesus paid for our sicknesses. Why are many suffering in the hands of untimely death, given that the price for their healing has been paid? The answer is ignorance. Ignorance is a killer at all levels, ranging from ignorant of the vaccine, cure and ignorant of how to build one's faith and how to pray. The Bible confirming this says, my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, He says, because you have rejected knowledge, therefore I have rejected you from being a priest before me, Hosea 4:6. God as merciful as He is, as loving as He is, hate ignorance and even rejects his people on the bases of ignorant. Many are ignorant that building your Faith in Healing Scriptures will give you dominion over sicknesses. The Word of the Lord says in Psalms 103:2-3 that the Lord forgives your sins and heals all your diseases. If he says he heals all our sicknesses, it's true, He can't lie. He can Heal all sicknesses, even Coronaviruses. Why are many people dying of Coronaviruses, Cancer and other sicknesses? They have a Faith problem. This book is here to fix your Faith problem. Healing by the power of Faith is not new. It one's was very common and humanity because of the pleasures of sin decided to allow it to slip off. In the days of Alexander Dowie, around the 1870's, a pandemic brook out in Australia that was similar to COVID-19, killing just everyone and had symptoms of fever like Coronavirus. God used him mightily in the Faith ministry to save the lives of thousands from the pandemic. This information can be verified on the internet. This time-sensitive manual is a reawakening for humanity to return to the Faith that was ones delivered to the saints. It's not a type of motivational text written to make a motivate, but to build your faith to combat level so that you can effectively fight, " the good fight of Faith." In my opinion, the Church has failed to take its position as the light and salt of the World, with respect to divine healing. This book is coming out at a critical time like this to build the Faith of many and guide them on how to pray. By reading this book and allocating the required time on prayers, will cause you to emerge as a prayer warrior and a man of Faith. It is designed to take you from zero Faith to Hero Faith. By the time you finish reading this book, the Coronavirus in your body will be finished, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A compassionate, shame-free guide for your darkest days “A one-of-a-kind book . . . to read for yourself or give to a struggling friend or loved one without the fear that depression and suicidal thoughts will be minimized, medicalized or over-spiritualized.”—Kay Warren, cofounder of Saddleback Church What happens when loving Jesus doesn’t cure you of depression, anxiety, or suicidal thoughts? You might be crushed by shame over your mental illness, only to be told by well-meaning Christians to “choose joy” and “pray more.” So you beg God to take away the pain, but nothing eases the ache inside. As darkness lingers and color drains from your world, you’re left wondering if God has abandoned you. You just want a way out. But there’s hope. In I Love Jesus, But I Want to Die, Sarah J. Robinson offers a healthy, practical, and shame-free guide for Christians struggling with mental illness. With unflinching honesty, Sarah shares her story of battling depression and fighting to stay alive despite toxic theology that made her afraid to seek help outside the church. Pairing her own story with scriptural insights, mental health research, and simple practices, Sarah helps you reconnect with the God who is present in our deepest anguish and discover that you are worth everything it takes to get better. Beautifully written and full of hard-won wisdom, I Love Jesus, But I Want to Die offers a path toward a rich, hope-filled life in Christ, even when healing doesn’t look like what you expect.

Book A Stranger in the House of God

Download or read book A Stranger in the House of God written by John Koessler and published by Zondervan. This book was released on 2009-08-30 with total page 227 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Growing up the son of agnostics, John Koessler saw a Catholic church on one end of the street and a Baptist on the other. In the no-man’s land between the two, this curious outside wondered about the God they worshipped—and began a lifelong search to comprehend the grace and mystery of God. A Stranger in the House of God addresses fundamental questions and struggles faced by spiritual seekers and mature believers. Like a contemporary Pilgrim’s Progress, it traces the author’s journey and explores his experiences with both charismatic and evangelical Christianity. It also describes his transformation from religious outsider to ordained pastor. John Koessler provides a poignant and often humorous window into the interior of the soul as he describes his journey from doubt and struggle with the church to personal faith
