You cannot get better stock no matter where you get them. Methods OF cultivation: Previous to setting out the plants I grow a crop of cow peas on the land and plow them in during - the month of October, then set the plants about November lst and culti vate them at once. I do not cultivate again at any time until the following March, when they are side dressed with a commercial fertilizer, with fertilizer attachments attached to the cultivator used for this purpose; after which they are cultivated and hoed at intervals until about the middle of September.
