Les approches compensatrices menées par les orthophonistes ont alors toute leur place et l'émergence de travaux sur le sujet démontre le caractère incontournable des CAA au sein de cette maladie. Néanmoins, les données restent limitées et les interrogations fréquentes des orthophonistes semblent indiquer un manque d'informations nécessaires pour une prise en soin compensatrice optimale de leurs patients atteints d'APP. Ce mémoire s'inscrit alors dans une volonté de les aider à l'aborder plus sereinement. En premier lieu, nous avons diffusé un questionnaire destiné aux orthophonistes concernés afin de réaliser un état des lieux de leurs pratiques et de leurs connaissances sur le sujet. En second lieu, nous avons recueilli le témoignage d'un patient ainsi que de trois aidantes quant à leur quotidien avec cette maladie. L'expérience des professionnels, les histoires de vie des personnes touchées par l'APP et la littérature nous ont ainsi permis d'élaborer un livret pourvu de rappels théoriques et de pistes pratiques à destination des orthophonistes. De futures études pourraient être envisagées afin de compléter et d'approfondir ses données.
