Download or read book Broken Vessels Restored written by Nate Fortner and published by . This book was released on 2020-05-04 with total page 28 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Many people misunderstand and believe that God created everything within seven days. That's not true and clearly not Biblical. The Bible clearly states that God the Father, Jesus His Son and the Holy Spirit were all present at creation, which only took six days. On the seventh day, they rested. I love the story of creation, because we truly get to see the heart of God in action. We read in the New Testament that anyone who comes to God, must come as a little child. That's why I love the creation story so much, because on the first six days of creation we see where God spoke everything into existence, except one thing! In this little book, you will learn what God didn't speak into existence, and because of that, we can overcome the feeling of being empty on the inside. We can overcome depression and anxiety. We can overcome demonic attacks upon our lives. We can be victorious in Jesus name!

Download or read book The Oil That Flows from a Broken Cup written by Paulette Adassa Wilson and published by . This book was released on 2017-03-10 with total page 111 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Life flows out from the cracks in a broken vessel that has been surrendered to Christ. Pain gives the restored person a unique perspective and empathy in ministry. The recovered addict, the abused teen, the redeemed felon - regardless of the nature of the trauma - each is potentially a powerful witness of divine grace. Of what value is a broken vessel? This seminar explores the powerful witness of a once-broken life, and shows how God can use even the most fragmented human being to change the world. Something wonderful happens when a once-shattered life is restored. The bowed head breaks away from the crippling shame and guilt, and looks upward for the first time. A new journey begins. Out of those shattered places, the healing oil of the Holy Spirit flows. For every pain that was suffered, there is a story of triumph that must be told... As the broken person celebrates divine restoration, there is a special kind of ministry that will occur. Those experiences that were life-shattering, now enable him to minister to others who need deliverance.

Book excerpt: Discover your story, learn how to tell it, and watch God perform miracles in your life as you fall more in love with your Abba Father. God uses cracked pots and broken vessels to tell His story: “And they overcame … by the power of the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony …” Revelation 12:11 KJV. God doesn’t waste anything or anyone. He takes the scars and pain of your life and turns you into the vessel of His glory you were created to be. Nothing surprises God. He has a plan to redeem you, save you, and let His light shine through you. Many Christians walk in bondage for failure to know and follow the Word of God. The Bible is Christ’s love letter to you, an instruction book to guide you through all of life’s difficulties. Who better to direct you through uncertain times than the one who knows of the best plans for your life? Yet Christ says his people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. God’s Word rightly applied to the strongholds in your life can help you live the abundant life Christ died to give you and set the captives free. It is not just a matter of salvation, but rather growth in Christ—the sanctification process—that leads you to the rich and abundant life Christ died to give you. What is your testimony? It isn’t just your story of salvation. Tell of your journey and how the Lord allowed the Scriptures to come alive in your life. Tell of the living Jesus.

Book Restore Such a One

  • Pages : 326 pages

Download or read book Restore Such a One written by Lance M. Bacon and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2024-08-01 with total page 326 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Widespread deficiencies in spiritual formation see an increasing number of ministers buckle under the significant burdens common to the task. There are seasons when a powerful triad of the flesh, the world, and the devil converge (Eph 2:2–3, cf. Jas 3:15 and 1 John 2:16). Misdirected attempts to fulfill emptiness, find worth, or heal longstanding wounds ensue. Widespread instances of sexual immorality result. Sound exegesis and analysis of theological doctrine presents an allowance, in certain cases, for ministerial restoration. However, this necessitates an intimate and intricate approach that differs significantly from the varied solutions churches and denominations offer. Few restoration programs bring a biblical response to bear. Remarkably rare are restoration programs that look to correct causal factors and commit to congregational care. This program orients itself on an understanding of brokenness and the need for holistic (re)formation. The latter requires fallen ministers to progress beyond biblical confession and repentance to partner with the Holy Spirit and key authorities such as an overseer, mentors, Christian mental health professionals, and a designated congregation. The unitive goal is a “sanctifying psychopathology” that properly diagnoses spiritual and emotional health; eradicates the adverse influences of emotional, cultural, and spiritual factors; and redirects self-oriented patterns of thought and behavior.
