Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Have you ever wondered what it might be like to travelas one big, happy familyover one thousand miles in a motor home? Simon Bennett did more than think about it: He decided to do it. It all began when he and his wife, Emma, adopted a dolphin and a polar bear as gifts to give to their twin children on their eighth birthday: Jessica and Jacob. But the determined Jessica simply had to see her adopted dolphin, which the family learned was named Sundance and lived in the Moray Firth in the highlands of Scotland, which is hundreds of miles away. (Fortunately, Jacob wasnt as determined to see his adopted polar bear in the Arctic - yet!). Simon had but little choice to start researching, and he found a great campsite book that became his reference source to plan an expedition in a motor home to see some of Scotlands lochs, coastline, and historic places. Laugh, learn, and celebrate with a family that embarks on an inspiring journey filled with discoveries and adventures they wont ever forget with In Search of Sundance, Nessie ... and Paradise!

It exposes fakes, hoaxes and pseudoscience and shows how the story grew from an interesting local legend into the most famous mystery of modern times. Whether or not you believe in the mystery, how that mystery grew from humble beginnings to world fame is a fascinating story in its own right and this book explains all. However, it contains more than just the monster. It is a GEOGRAPHY of Loch Ness; the BIOGRAPHY of Nessie, the world's favourite monster and the AUTOBIOGRAPHY of Tony Harmsworth, the best known Loch Ness commentator. It is the first book on the subject to be penned by someone who has lived overlooking Loch Ness for more than thirty years. A SUPERB READ FROM BEGINNING TO END!

The Chinese government made quick rules for their people and passed their developments to the world medical association who were not too happy with the slowness of China’s reports, Bid decisions were being made behind closed doors. Weeks passed, China reported thousands of deaths to other foreign governments as they should of a lot sooner, 3 Quarantine levels were put in place too late, Lock down rules were taken on, Chinese soldiers were used to disinfect the streets, United nations met as quickly as they could and dammed China for this new virus that come from their country, The virus was now spreading across Eastern Asia and leaking into Europe. It was discovered, leaked out that this virus had been spreading around China for weeks, could be months, it wasn’t proven, some government officials said, could have been longer, who knows others talked about, It became very messy, Countries governments talked and talked strongly together to try and find out what exactly what was going on, China announced from their scientists results what they had discovered about the virus, They informed it was a pandemic, not air born, spread around from human to human, coughing, sneezing, talking to close to another person could pass on the virus, China called the virus, Covid-19, another type of Corona virus, 4 They informed it was much stronger than past virus’s the world had already encountered and was continually investigating them, this was also known to many countries’ leaders. The world health association was not impressed and demanded, there was little reply from China just their reports on other viruses they had been working on. Uk government officials along with the world health organisation had in depth behind closed doors trying to get to grips with this new virus and what exactly was its strength, China still talked behind clouds informing that It was not their fault and that it would blow over, It was not the case as more and more cases were discovered around the world, UK’s prime minister held instance cabinet meetings trying to get to grips with this new virus and preparing what to tell the nation, Little was told and was told to late many people thought, but that was, always is the case with the government in the UK many people have commented in the past.

Book The Nightfisherman

Download or read book The Nightfisherman written by William Sydney Graham and published by Carcanet Press. This book was released on 1999 with total page 436 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: William Sydney Graham (1918-1986) was born in Greenock, Scotland, 'beside the sugar house quays' - a setting open to the sea. He remained a Celt, moving from Scotland to Cornwall where he found seascapes without urban clutter, just an occasional ruined tin-mine with its human echo. In the 1950s and 1960s he became a key member of the artistic scene in St Ives. A friend of T.S. Eliot, Dylan Thomas, Edwin Morgan, Roger Hilton, Peter Lanyon and many others, he could be demanding, but he gave back generously. A prolific letter-writer, he is first heard here in the passionate apprentice years, then writing from and of Fitzrovia, the Apocalypse, and his years in Cornwall after The Nightfishing (1955). We come at last to his apotheosis in the brilliance and wry wisdom of his late work. Dedication and commitment to his craft produced an extraordinary body of work during a life lived wildly and to the full. These letters (interspersed with poems and drawings) are a testament to the close intellectual and spiritual bonds with nourished his writing over many years.
