In this report will be found financial ex bibite of the Normal School Fund, the Normal School Fund Income, detailed account of the receipts and expenditures at each school, expenses of Teachers' Institutes, and such other information as may be deemed of interest concerning the condition of that part Of the educational system Of the state under the supervision of the Board Of Regents. To this report are added the reports Of the presidents of four N or mal Schools. TO these I call attention as they afford special and detailed information concerning the work of each school. During the two past years, meetings Of the Board were held in July and February of each year, being the times designated by law, for making financial settlements with each school and transacting other business within the pro vince Of the Board. The schools have been visited at intervals by the following standing committees of the Board: Executive, Teachers, Graduating Classes and Inspection of Schools and Build ings. These committees have special and distinctive work assigned them. In the discharge of these duties, each mem ber, from personal Observation, has opportunities of gaining a knowledge Of the character and scope Of the work being done by the Normal Schools of the state.
