I am in northeast Louisiana, but most of these birds in this book can be seen all over the state. Some birds are only found in one half of the state, and that could be north vs south or east vs west. So, you may have to travel a short distance before some are seen. As we approach the Gulf of Mexico, many shore birds appear, but we will get to those in another book. In this book, you will find great color pictures, detailed descriptions, information on sounds, habitat, diet, behavior, migration, and more. I hope you will use this to identify the birds you see and enjoy those birds even more. This book has more detailed descriptions than any other I have ever seen.
