Book AYAN CHALAN SIDDHANT

Download or read book AYAN CHALAN SIDDHANT written by BIRENDER NAUTIYAL and published by Keshav Nautiyal. This book was released on 2024-10-03 with total page 324 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I begin this book with my bowing down in front of the Lord. The reason for naming this book Ayan Chalan Siddhant is that the Tropical Sun is lagging behind the Sidereal zero by a time value of 20.41 minutes every year. It will again be in front of the Sidereal zero after a fixed period of 25771 years. The target of the fixed period is to be completed by the Ayan movement of 20.41 minutes every year, hence the name of the book is Ayan Chalan Siddhant. The starting point of Sidereal Aries is at an angular distance of 180 degrees from Chitra Constellation. This starting point of Aries is a fixed point. We calculate the Sidereal of the Bhogansha of the planets from the starting point of this fixed Aries. On the basis of the planetary positions mentioned in our religious scriptures, it is believed that at the time of the beginning of Satyug, the fixed and moving zodiac cycles were together at the starting point of Sidereal Aries. Hence, the main source of the base calculation is the fixed point of Sidereal Aries. In the beginning of astrological civilization, our scholars and astronomers had expanded the calculations by considering the mentioned fixed point as the base, after some years they realized that our base point is not at its place, it has moved a little towards the west from its place. This was called lagging of the equinox or movement of the equinox and the new point was called the movable zodiac cycle. To understand Ayanamsha or seasonal changes, you will have to compare the Earth's annual motion with the Earth's third motion, which is called Ayan Gati in this book. After calculation, you will see that just as seasonal changes etc. take place under the annual motion, the same happens under Ayan Gati, the difference is only of years, i.e. nature repeats its rules in a short and a long form. In the annual motion the Sun starts moving from 21st March i.e. the revolution increases and on 21st June it is a little north of exact east, again from 21st June the revolution decreases and the Sun seems to come back towards the east and on 23rd September the Sun is exactly in the east direction. In the same manner, it starts moving from 23rd September, i.e. the revolution increases and on 22nd December, it is a little south of the exact east. Again from 22nd December, the revolution decreases and the Sun seems to come back towards the east and on 21st March, the Sun is exactly in the east direction. The above means that the Earth makes a complete revolution of 360 degrees around the Sun in its annual motion, during which six seasons change, but it appears to us that the Sun goes a little north of the east and then comes back to the east direction and goes a little towards the south. Similarly, Ayanamsha also completes a full revolution of 360 degrees around the fixed star, during which also six seasons change. The seasonal considerations given by the earlier Acharyas in historical texts confirm the statement that the fixed star is moving towards the west. From zero degree till completion of 90 degree ayanamsha it moves a little towards north and after completing 90 degree it seems to come again towards east for 180 degree ayanamsha. Similarly, from 180 degrees to 270 degrees of ayanamsha, it moves a little towards south and after completing 270 degrees, it again appears to come towards east for 360 degrees of ayanamsha. In annual motion, the earth revolves around the sun and in axial motion, the earth revolves around a fixed star. On the background of both of these is the starting point of Sidereal Aries. This is the base point of calculation. The six seasons keep rotating in front of this point due to the above mentioned two motions. Look in the almanacs, Currently, on 21st March, is the Sidereal Sun rising from Uttarabhadrapada Constellation or not? Uttarabhadrapada Constellation falls under Pisces sign (Chaitra month) in the Sidereal zodiac cycle. Currently, the ayanamsha is 23.79 degrees, when the ayanamsha will be 32 degrees, then on 21st March, the Sidereal Sun will rise from Purvabhadrapada Constellation. The three phases of Purvabhadrapada Constellation fall under Aquarius sign (Phalguna month) in the Sidereal zodiac cycle. In this manner, the starting point of Tropical Aries will travel in the twelve Sidereal months, moving 360 degrees in the opposite direction in the fixed zodiac cycle. Due to which the Sidereal months will also be shorter and longer. Big calculations can be done easily by decimal calculations, therefore decimal calculations have been given in the first chapter of the book's preliminary calculation part. How to convert zodiac degreess into zodiac decimals or degrees decimals has been explained in detail. By doing reverse calculation it has been explained how to convert zodiac sign decimal to zodiac sign fraction, period etc. Apart from this, by doing reverse calculation of year decimal, month decimal and converting them back to year-month etc. has also been explained. of the elementary calculation part, how the conjunction time and separation time are found has been explained well by calculation. In the third chapter of the preliminary calculation part, it has been explained in detail how to calculate 25771 years of the cycle, 71.59 years taken in one degree of Ayanamsha, 70.56 years taken in one day of seasonal change, 50.29 Vikala Ayanamsha of one year etc. Apart from this, the difference between Ishtayears and Ganayears has also been explained in this chapter. In the fourth chapter of the preliminary calculation part, the method of making the ayan motion wheel has also been explained in detail so that if you first make the instrument then it will be easy to take any kind of decitropical. In the fifth chapter of Dwaparyugant Gananat Part, it is given in detail how many cycles passed from Satyayug to the end of Dwaparyug. The calculation of how many days of seasonal change or how much Ayanamsha had passed during the end of Dwaparyug is also given in detail. In the sixth chapter of Dwaparayugant Ganana part, the twelve Sidereal solsticess of the last day of Dwaparayug have been given. On which date did the Sidereal solsticess occur during that period? In the seventh chapter of the Dwaparayugant calculation part, the twelve Tropical solstices of the last day of Dwaparayuga, the Sidereal month and the constellation movement in the stable zodiac cycle have been given. In the second edition, this book has been divided into four parts, which have a total of 31 chapters. Therefore, writing everything in detail in the book context would increase the size of the book. Therefore, I will say in brief, detailed calculations have been done regarding the ecliptic and the precestropical. By calculating at what degrees the perihelion and aphelion occur, it can be known by which 2 months will increase or decrease in the years of a cycle. This will be useful in calculating the Kshayamas. Apart from this, Vikrami Era, Shaka Era and AD started after how many years of Kali Yuga had passed. On the day when Ayanamsha was again at zero point, how many years of Vikrami Era, Shaka Era and AD had passed in that Kaliyug. At present we use the eras like Vikrami, Shaka and AD, how can we use their same pattern in any period, this is also given in simple language, because on calculation before any era, there is a difference in the months of change of seasons, hence priority has been given to using the pattern. The era formation calculation is based on the Sun, Sun is always there and will always be there, hence the pattern was thought of. Apart from this, the calculation of the date of the end of Dwaparyug or the beginning of Kaliyug has been given in which Vikrami, Shaka or AD model, including the entry month and year. The most pleasant chapter is KaliEra Nirnaya. The calculation of which date or which Vikrami Era month and entry should be considered as the beginning of Kalinav Era in the present times has been given in detail. on which Sidereal solsticess were or are occurring at the end of Dwaparyug and at present has also been given in detail. The method of bringing the beginning of Kaliyug to 17/18 February BC has also been given in this book. Apart from this, other researches have also been given to confirm the research on Ayanamsha and seasonal change. Sidereal is fixed and Tropical is Moviable, hence the angular distance from zero of Sidereal Aries to zero of Tropical Aries is called Ayanamsha. In the upcoming chapters, calculation of Ayanamsha, seasonal changes, solar months, Entries, day through Ahargan, date, Sidereal and Tropical Sun etc. is being given in detail, but before that it is necessary to understand the method of decimal calculation in brief. Book The New Golden Treasury A New Anthology For B A Classes

Download or read book The New Golden Treasury A New Anthology For B A Classes written by R. C. Prasad and published by . This book was released on 2008-01-01 with total page 232 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This anthology is intended, in general, for anyone who wishes to acquaint himself with English poetry and, in particular, for the student-reader in undergraduate courses who may wish to have some of the best poems in the English language in one handy selection. In selecting for this book from the great bulk of English poetry, the editors have been guided by the notion that space should be given only to those poets who are acknowledge masters of imaginative writing, whatever their subject matter might be. From the poets so chosen, particular poems were selected for their characteristic excellence of substance and form. Wherever possible the pieces are complete; where space would not allow completeness, as in the case of dramatic pieces, enough has been given to suggest the nature of the total poem. In the course of their work the editors have been struck by the incisive implication Matthew Arnold's belief in the 'best that has been thought and said' that the best said is commonly the best thought. They have, however, kept their eyes steadily on both the abilities and the limitations of students when they are faced with a piece of creative writing and that, too, in a language which is not their own. Their minds are accustomed, accustomed, perhaps, to work best at a literal-that is an unimaginative-level. The editors have, therefore, offered the sort of material which may be readily understood and immediately enjoyed. They have also tried to show the student-reader the characteristic types of poetry which have been written in the English language. The poets are arranged almost chronologically so that he can see how tastes and forms have changed even though the basic characteristics have remained constant. If he has to read poetry well, he must know what its characteristics are and what the poet is attempting to do. He must not expect the fully developed situations of the novel, the play, or even the short story. Rather, he should look for sudden bursts of insight into some corner of human experience, More important, possibly, he should look forward to sharing briefly in the experience itself. For it is part of the magic of poetry that at one and the same time it can tell you about experience and make you feel its peculiar significance. The Poems and poetic extracts have been taken from a wide variety of sources, and no attempt has been made to establish definitive texts. Where possible, however, they have been checked for accuracy with texts in Oxford or other authorized editions. Spelling and capitalization, with few exceptions, have been modernized. The Metaphysicals of the seventeenth century and the neo-classical satirists of the Augustan Age have been adequately represented. To our many colleagues whose suggestions and interpretations we have requisitioned, we most gratefully acknowledge our indebtedness, wishing that space allowed us to name each one. More particularly we thank, forunflagging help and encouragement, Professor George Shepperson of Edinburgh University; Dr. D.E. Rhodes of the British Museum Library, London; Dr. T.P. Chitanand of Bombay University; Dr. Tulsi Ram of M.D. University; Rohtak; Dr. Awadhesh Sharma of Bhagalpur University; Rosewita Prasad and Pratima, both students in the Post-Graduate Dept. of English, Patna University.

This book was released on 2003 with total page 402 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Samanta Chandra Sekhar (1835-1904) occupies a special position in Ancient Indian Astronomy, being the last link in a long chain of illustrious astronomers commencing with Aryabhata (5th century AD). The book describes how he identified errors accumulated over the ages, eradicated them and brought the subject to final perfection. The discovery of the three anomalies in the motion of the moon, hiking of the Earth-Sun distance by more than ten times the value taken by his predecessors and his novel planetary model with heliocentric motion of the planets are some of his major contributions. How astronomy developed in ancient civilizations of the world, and the frontier topics in astrophysics like Dark Matter etc. discussed in a few articles help in developing an integral perspective of the reader.

Book Cartography of Exhaustion

Download or read book Cartography of Exhaustion written by Peter Pál Pelbart and published by U of Minnesota Press. This book was released on 2016-03-01 with total page 210 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In our current landscape of communicative and connective excess, a very novel contemporary exhaustion exacerbated by our relation to the postdigital terrain is ever present. The Brazilian philosopher and schizoanalyst Peter Pál Pelbart pushes the vital question of our nihililstic age to the limits: how can one learn to be left alone, live alone, and perhaps, by way of a Deleuzian “absolute solitude,” conjure a vitality for living again and, indeed, finding something truly “worthy of saying”? Through various poetic meanderings and meditations and building on the works of Blanchot, Musil, Guattari, and Delingy, among others, Pelbart reestablishes the possibility of fighting off the exhaustion of our current state of affairs. For Pelbart, we must chart the cartography of exhaustion as if it were a sort of molecular symptomology.

Book excerpt: How Is It Love? is Simran’s first professionally published book which explores the themes of contemporary love stories set in Indian states and Utah to the strained family ties of the modern era. The five short stories raise the issues of how family background impacts the lives of people in the long run which makes them vulnerable to violence, abuse and insecurities. Hidden in the layers of love and romance, the focus is on how love beyond gender, age and caste, self-love, and firm determination become the indispensable elements of healing others and oneself. Besides, another theme highlighted, stemming from mental health issues, is self-harm by a male character to show that men suffer too. The last story in the collection is not the representation of the usual terrorist activities that people come across in society, but it shows how some events make a teenager turn into a body thirsty for blood and vengeance.
