Book An lisis de vinos mostos y alcoholes

Download or read book An lisis de vinos mostos y alcoholes written by ANTONIO MADRID VICENTE and published by Mundi-Prensa Libros. This book was released on 2003 with total page 330 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

This book was released on 2004 with total page 912 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This two-volume handbook supplies food chemists with essential information on the physical and chemical properties of nutrients, descriptions of analytical techniques, and an assessment of their procedural reliability. The new edition includes two new chapters that spotlight the characterization of water activity and the analysis of inorganic nutrients, and provides authoritative rundowns of analytical techniques for the sensory evaluation of food, amino acids and fatty acids, neutral lipids and phospholipids, and more. The leading reference work on the analysis of food, this edition covers new topics and techniques and reflects the very latest data and methodological advances in all chapters.

Book Molecular Wine Microbiology

Download or read book Molecular Wine Microbiology written by Alfonso V. Carrascosa Santiago and published by Academic Press. This book was released on 2011-05-23 with total page 373 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Molecular Wine Microbiology features rigorous scientific content written at a level comprehensible for wine professionals as well as advanced students. It includes information on production and spoilage issues, the microbial groups relevant for wine production and microbial wine safety. Microbiology has long been recognized as a key tool in studying wine production, however only recently have wine microbiology studies been addressed at a molecular level, increasing the understanding of how microbiology impacts not only the flavor quality of the wine, but also its safety. Understanding, at a molecular level, how a starter culture can impact ethanol, glycerol, volatile phenols, mannoproteins, biogenic amines or ochratoxin A of a wine are just some of the core points that must be considered in order to achieve maximium consumer acceptability while addressing safety concerns during processing and storage. While other books offer insights into the technological aspects of enology, this book is written by expert microbiologists, who explore the positive and negative impacts of gene function in the production of wine, from a microbiological point of view. - Winner of the 2012 Jury Award in Enology from the International Organisation of Vine and Wine - Presents the most current methods of studying the microbiology of wine - Includes latest identification and typing methods, reducing identification time from days and weeks to minutes and hours - Provides important knowledge about the impact of microbiological factors at the molecular level for reduction of wine spoilage and increased wine quality and safety

Book Vibrational Spectroscopy Applications in Biomedical Pharmaceutical and Food Sciences

Download or read book Vibrational Spectroscopy Applications in Biomedical Pharmaceutical and Food Sciences written by Andrei A. Bunaciu and published by Elsevier. This book was released on 2020-07-26 with total page 266 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Vibrational Spectroscopy Applications in Biomedical, Pharmaceutical and Food Sciences synthesizes the latest research on the applications of vibrational spectroscopy in biomedical, pharmaceutical and food analysis. Suitable for graduate-level students as well as experienced researchers in academia and industry, this book is organized into five distinct sections. The first deals with the fundamentals of vibrational spectroscopy, with the second presenting the most important sampling methodology used for infrared and Raman spectroscopy in various fields of interest. Since spectroscopy is the study of the interaction of electromagnetic radiation with matter, this section deals with the characteristics, properties and absorption of electromagnetic radiation. Final sections describe the analytical studies performed all over the world in biomedical, pharmaceutical and in the food sciences. - Presents a critical discussion of many of the applications of vibrational spectroscopy - Covers details of the analytical methodologies used in pharmaceutical and biomedical applications - Discusses the latest developments in pharmaceutical and biomedical analysis of both small and large molecules
