These facts, however, came to me with such illuminative force, that I cannot but hope that they may prove equally helpful to others who are struggling in the bonds of mistaken conceptions of what the Bible really teaches. This class merges by imperceptible degrees into the Class Of types, metaphors and allegories, to which every man may attach the meaning that seems good to him, and whose value depends upon their applicability.
