Book America the True Church and the End of the Age

Download or read book America the True Church and the End of the Age written by James A. McCune and published by Createspace Independent Pub. This book was released on 2012-11-30 with total page 260 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Never before in American history have so many people felt so uneasy about the future course of this great country. In spite of the fact that the U.S. has always had serious problems of one sort or another, there is a growing concern today that something is terribly wrong; a kind of foreboding sense that —unlike it always has in the past — the future will not simply “work itself out.” Just who are we as Americans anyway? What is our true destiny? Does it really make sense that there “end time” prophecies concerning Turkey, Egypt, Iran, Russia, Ethiopia and many others, while the Bible is silent about the wealthiest and most powerful nation in history? Actually, the Bible has a great deal to say about the United States at the end time, and Part I of America, the True Church, & the End of the Age gives you about the best guide to that information you are likely to find. And what about the confused state of “the Church,” not only in America but around the world? It's time we stopped kidding ourselves and admitted that modern Christianity just doesn't measure up to the New Testament standard. Your Bible suggests that any church claiming to be Christian, but not having power, is false! Part II of this book shows you clearly from the scriptures what the problem is . . . and how both the Christian Church and its power will be restored, in a rather dramatic way, at the end of the present age.Part III of the book lays out in detail what will happen during the final seven years prior to Christ's triumphant return to earth. This is the period known as “Daniel's seventieth week.” The message of God's two witnesses will occupy the first 3 1/2 years, and their message of “restoration” (Matt. 17:11) will not be well received by Christians. Many will even confuse them with the beast and false prophet, who will occupy the second 3 1/2 years of the final seven. Given how confusing and unexpected all of these events will be, you really can't afford to be without the information contained in America, the True Church, & the End of the Age!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Discerning Our Time: A Layman’s Guide to End-Time Events in America is a compelling look at historic and political trends that push the reader to look upon biblical facts as to where America fits in concerning future events. This book is an easy read for people of all backgrounds and education levels. It is a breakdown of exactly what scripture means from original language to historical settings that all connect to American society as we know it today. Though this book gives greater enlightenment to the Christian community and is a solid resource for pastors to draw from, it will truly be an eye-opening experience for the open-minded unbelievers or those who do not consider Christianity of any consequence within their lives. The changes within American society and our culture as well as our political choices are highlighted within the word of God. In this book they are accurately brought out. Church denominations are put to the test as historical truths are revealed and many falsehoods about Christianity are dispelled. Truth about American education, business, and government are documented with the light of scripture shining right next to the facts so the reader can judge for themselves. Many teachers, pastors, and theologians don’t believe America plays a significant role in the end times. Some teach that it will be wiped off the map. No one truly knows exact dates or for that matter what the antichrist will look like, but there is a definite template laid out within the Bible; America fits comfortably in that template. This book is a must-read if you are interested in what direction America is heading and who will rise to power in the near future.

Book America the Prophecy and the End of the Age

Download or read book America the Prophecy and the End of the Age written by Eliora Ysrael and published by . This book was released on 2014-03-19 with total page 250 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: For years Bible Prophecy teachers have consistently interpreted bible prophecy using a methodology that results in a maze of false predictions, speculations, and errors. What has been accepted as the traditional way of 'interpreting' bible prophecy has created an atmosphere of confusion for most students and laymen. Moreover, the majority of preachers, teachers, televangelists, and book authors today, have consistently redefined the term 'nations' as in governments, state, or country. However, the true biblical definition of the word nations, peoples, clans, tribes, or ethnic groups has been ignored and disregarded. And, it is by this definition that God deals with mankind. Unfortunately the vast majority of Bible Prophecy teachers use the substituted definition to interpret bible prophecy. Blurring the ability to know the 'who' and the 'why' of the prophecies, by diverting attention to the states, governments, or countries instead. As a result when the state (not nation) of Israel was reestablished in 1948, the Christian community proclaimed it to be a miraculous prophetic fulfillment. However the problem with this supposition is that the true biblical definition of 'nations' was completely ignored. The shocking reality is this, the current occupants residing in Israel today are not the true nation (people, tribe, clan, ethnic group) of Ysrael; and are not the sons of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as identified in the scriptures. The 1980 Jewish Almanac and the Encyclopedia Judaica state that better than 95% of the Jews residing in the nation of Israel today, are of Ashkenazi or Khazar descent, and are not the Israelites of the Bible. So by substituting the biblical definition of nations with the new definition; prophecy teachers completely ignore the fact that the true nation (people, tribe, ethnic group) of Ysrael is not in the land! Shockingly 98% of all prophecy books on the market today consistently 'insert' the incorrect nation (people,

Download or read book An Anxious Age written by Joseph Bottum and published by Image. This book was released on 2014-02-11 with total page 285 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We live in a profoundly spiritual age, but not in any good way. Huge swaths of American culture are driven by manic spiritual anxiety and relentless supernatural worry. Radicals and traditionalists, liberals and conservatives, together with politicians, artists, environmentalists, followers of food fads, and the chattering classes of television commentators: America is filled with people frantically seeking confirmation of their own essential goodness. We are a nation desperate to stand of the side of morality--to know that we are righteous and dwell in the light. In An Anxious Age, Joseph Bottum offers an account of modern America, presented as a morality tale formed by a collision of spiritual disturbances. And the cause, he claims, is the most significant and least noticed historical fact of the last fifty years: the collapse of the mainline Protestant churches that were the source of social consensus and cultural unity. Our dangerous spiritual anxieties, broken loose from the churches that once contained them, now madden everything in American life. Updating The Protestant Ethic and the Sprit of Capitalism, Max Weber's sociological classic, An Anxious Age undertakes two case studies of contemporary social classes adrift in a nation without the religious understandings that gave them meaning. Looking at the college-educated elite he calls "the Poster Children," Bottum sees the post-Protestant heirs of the old mainline Protestant domination of culture: dutiful descendants who claim the high social position of their Christian ancestors even while they reject their ancestors' Christianity. Turning to the Swallows of Capistrano, the Catholics formed by the pontificate of John Paul II, Bottum evaluates the early victories--and later defeats--of the attempt to substitute Catholicism for the dying mainline voice in public life. Sweeping across American intellectual and cultural history, An Anxious Age traces the course of national religion and warns about the strange angels and even stranger demons with which we now wrestle. Insightful and contrarian, wise and unexpected, An Anxious Age ranks among the great modern accounts of American culture.

Book The Late Great Planet Earth

Download or read book The Late Great Planet Earth written by Hal Lindsey and published by Zondervan. This book was released on 2016-10-11 with total page 170 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The impact of The Late Great Planet Earth cannot be overstated. The New York Times called it the "no. 1 non-fiction bestseller of the decade." For Christians and non-Christians of the 1970s, Hal Lindsey's blockbuster served as a wake-up call on events soon to come and events already unfolding -- all leading up to the greatest event of all: the return of Jesus Christ. The years since have confirmed Lindsey's insights into what biblical prophecy says about the times we live in. Whether you're a church-going believer or someone who wouldn't darken the door of a Christian institution, the Bible has much to tell you about the imminent future of this planet. In the midst of an out-of-control generation, it reveals a grand design that's unfolding exactly according to plan. The rebirth of Israel. The threat of war in the Middle East. An increase in natural catastrophes. The revival of Satanism and witchcraft. These and other signs, foreseen by prophets from Moses to Jesus, portend the coming of an antichrist . . . of a war which will bring humanity to the brink of destruction . . . and of incredible deliverance for a desperate, dying planet.

D and published by Covenant Books, Inc.. This book was released on 2024-06-05 with total page 284 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: From a thorough understanding of the human history from a Biblical perspective, and knowledge in science and theology author Plammoottil Cherian elucidates a vivid picture of the current state of the Christendom under the power of secularism, atheism, and apostasy in a confused and chaotic world. The Church is at the crossroads of confusion losing its power in spreading the Gospel at a time when it is most needed. The Book in five separate parts describes: Who is true God, the foundation of Church, and God's religion. What the mission of the Church is. Church and nations are living in an Age of Delusion, and a generation of compromised Christians. Apostacy is on the rise and Church without Christ like in Laodicea. Global Unhappiness because God is on the sidelines. There is perfect harmony between science and Christian faith. The world has been experiencing the bowls of wrath of God. Nations morally deteriorate by the spiritual blindness of leaders of Church and State. Humanity has been experiencing the hoofbeats of the four horses in the Book of Revelation. The nations and Church are in the state of Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin. The Babylons of the world nations are about to fall, unless aligned with God. The Grace Age is ending soon, as scientific evidence proves the Biblical prophecies. The pressing need of the Church is to prepare believers for Christ's Second Coming. As a scientists and theologian, Dr. Cherian analyzes the present world culture and explains the Biblical prophecies that we are at the threshold of Church that lost the faith, and calls church and nation's leaders to realign with God for his guidance and continued blessings.

Book Revive Us Again

Download or read book Revive Us Again written by Joel A. Carpenter and published by Oxford University Press, USA. This book was released on 1997 with total page 360 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Skillfully blending painstaking research, telling anecdotes, and astute analysis, Carpenter - a scholar who has spent twenty years studying American evangelicalism reveals that, contrary to the popular opinion of the day, fundamentalism was alive and well in America in the late 1920s, and used its isolation over the next two decades to build new strength from within. The book describes how fundamentalists developed a pervasive network of organizations outside of the church setting and quietly strengthened the movement by creating their own schools and oragnizations, may of which are prominent today, including Fuller Theological Seminary and the publishing and radio enterprises of the Moody Bible Institute. Fundamentalists also used youth movements, missionary work and, perhaps most significantly, the burgeoning mass media industry to spread their message, especially through the powerful new medium of radio. Indeed, starting locally and growing to national broadcasts, evangelical preachers reached millions of listeners over the airwaves, in much the same way evangelists preach through television today. All this activity received no publicity outside of fundamentalist channels until Billy Graham burst on the scene in 1949. Carpenter vividly recounts how the charismatic preacher began packing stadiums with tens of thousands of listeners daily, drawing fundamentalism firmly back into the American consciousness after twenty years of public indifference. Alongside this vibrant history, Carpenter also offers many insights into fundamentalism during this period, and he describes many of the heated internal debates over issues of scholarship, separatism, and the role of women in leadership. Perhaps most important, he shows that the movement has never been stagnant or purely reactionary. It is based on an evolving ideology subject to debate, and dissension: a theology that adapts to changing times.

Book excerpt: "Let every student be plainly instructed and earnestly pressed to consider well the end of his life and studies is to know God and Jesus Christ, which is eternal life, and therefore to lay Christ in the bottom, as the only foundation of all sound knowledge and learning." -Harvard University 1636 If you grew up in America within the last 70 years, you've been lied to about the reality of your existence. You've been lied to about the roots of your great nation. And you've been lied to about the purpose of your life. A thick fog of religion, the pride of life and censored "education" has clouded the minds of several generations. Since the beginning of human history, God has been preserving a remnant of his offspring that will worship him in spirit and in truth. The remnant's population has always varied in size, from many millions to as few as just eight. The remnant cannot be identified by any single denomination or church affiliation. They are scattered like salt throughout the entire world. One such remnant came to America 400 years ago. These forefathers sacrificed their lives to build a society structured on the word of God. Now, our nation's foundation is being removed brick by brick, and at this rate our country's collapse is inevitable. The only way to avoid this downfall is to return to the source of stability and truth we were built on. The fate of our nation rests in the hands of the remnant. It rests on a conditional promise of God, IF... "If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14 The end of the church age is upon us. The window is closing. God is giving the United States a celestial warning you need to see! The greatest harvest in American history is a close, tangible possibility! The harvest is plentiful, but the remnant is few! With all love, humility, and unity, join the harvest. Join The Remnant.

Book USA Prophecy

Download or read book USA Prophecy written by Kenneth Mburu and published by Gatekeeper Press. This book was released on 2020-11-03 with total page 266 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book will help you find the USA in the Bible. It will help you find the vital role God has assigned the USA in His plan. USA is Ephraim. USA is the western gate of the world through which all divine movements in the physical world begin—Numbers 2:18. USA is God’s first born—Jeremiah 31:9: “They shall come with weeping, And with supplications I will lead them. I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters, In a straight way in which they shall not stumble; For I am a Father to Israel, And Ephraim is My firstborn.” The USA is being called to repentance in this Jeremiah 31:9 verse that means offspring (31) of fruit of the spirt and divine completion from Him (9). Ephraim is half-Israel and half-Egyptian, and so is USA. The USA is being called out of the sin and idolatry of its Egyptian half such as seen in the eye of Horus on top of the pyramid at the back of the 1-dollar bill in Hosea 11:1: “When Israel was a child, I loved him, And out of Egypt I called My son.” The USA is being called to repentance because it is the leader of the world; as the USA goes, so does the world. Satan is therefore keen to usurp the USA and use it to establish his kingdom through the New World Order global government. Satan has evolved this plot over thousands of years. All players and institutions are in place and ready to take over the entire globe. The only problem: the physical door of the world that is USA has been shut in Satan’s face by God. God has done this by raising Donald Trump to block the final move of the antiChrist system. Read this book therefore to understand the phenomena that is Donald Trump and why God has raised him as a wall against the move of Satan in these end times, despite all his many human flaws. Read this book to understand the future of America and what we, especially as believers must do, in this 2020 election period, when the USA will either end up in continued preservation (45) or tribulation (46) depending on our choices and our efforts to either support God’s move, or Satan’s move.

Download or read book Apocalyptic Theopolitics written by Elizabeth Phillips and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2022-10-21 with total page 191 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this volume, Elizabeth Phillips brings together scholarly essays on eschatology, ethics, and politics, as well as a selection of sermons preached in the chapels of the University of Cambridge arising from that scholarly work. These essays and sermons explore themes ranging from ethnography to Anabaptism and Christian Zionism to Afro-pessimism. Drawing on a wide range of authors from Flannery O’Conner and Herbert McCabe to James Cone and M. Shawn Copeland, this collection provides insight into the fields of Christian ethics and political theology, as well as ethnography and homiletics. Phillips challenges theologians to interdisciplinarity in their work, and to keep historical and traditional sources in conversation with contemporary sources from critical and liberative perspectives. She challenges Christians to engage in apocalyptic practices which name and resist the false pretenses of the political status quo. And she challenges preachers to call their congregations to moral and political faithfulness, opening up possibilities beyond both the squeamish evasion of politics in some preaching traditions and the didactic political partisanship of others.
