Download or read book Les aciers inoxydables duplex Trait MIM s rie mat riaux et m tallurgie written by ALVAREZ-ARMAS Iris and published by Lavoisier. This book was released on 2012-04-16 with total page 482 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.
Download or read book Stone in Metal Ages written by Francesca Manclossi and published by Archaeopress Publishing Ltd. This book was released on 2020-07-30 with total page 134 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Papers from Session XXXIV-6 of the XVIII UISPP World Congress 2018 were divided into two parts, the first dealing with lithic technology, use-wear analyses and the relation between the decline of stone and the development of metallurgy while the second focused on stone tools used for metallurgy. This publication combines these two parts.
Download or read book Additive Manufacturing of Metal Alloys 1 written by Patrice Peyre and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2022-09-07 with total page 276 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Over the last decade or so, additive manufacturing has revolutionized design and manufacturing methods by allowing more freedom in design and functionalities unattainable with conventional processes. This has generated extraordinarily high interest in both industrial and academic communities. Additive Manufacturing of Metal Alloys 1 puts forward a state of the art of additive manufacturing and its different processes, from metallic raw materials (in the form of powder or wire) to their properties after elaboration. It analyzes the physics and the modelling of existing AM processes as well as future elaboration processes. Using a balanced approach encapsulating basic notions and more advanced aspects for each theme, this book acts as a metal additive manufacturing textbook, as useful to professionals in the field as to the general public.

Download or read book Sheet Metal Forming Processes written by Dorel Banabic and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2010-06-21 with total page 312 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The concept of virtual manufacturing has been developed in order to increase the industrial performances, being one of the most ef cient ways of reducing the m- ufacturing times and improving the quality of the products. Numerical simulation of metal forming processes, as a component of the virtual manufacturing process, has a very important contribution to the reduction of the lead time. The nite element method is currently the most widely used numerical procedure for s- ulating sheet metal forming processes. The accuracy of the simulation programs used in industry is in uenced by the constitutive models and the forming limit curves models incorporated in their structure. From the above discussion, we can distinguish a very strong connection between virtual manufacturing as a general concept, ?nite element method as a numerical analysis instrument and constitutive laws, aswellas forming limit curves as a speci city of the sheet metal forming processes. Consequently, the material modeling is strategic when models of reality have to be built. The book gives a synthetic presentation of the research performed in the eld of sheet metal forming simulation during more than 20 years by the members of three international teams: the Research Centre on Sheet Metal Forming—CERTETA (Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania); AutoForm Company from Zürich, Switzerland and VOLVO automotive company from Sweden. The rst chapter presents an overview of different Finite Element (FE) formu- tions used for sheet metal forming simulation, now and in the past.
Download or read book Metal Hydrogen Systems written by T. Nejat Veziroglu and published by Elsevier. This book was released on 2016-01-22 with total page 739 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Metal-Hydrogen Systems covers the proceedings of the Miami International Symposium on Metal-Hydrogen Systems. The book presents studies that discuss the possibility of exploiting hydrogen as an alternative energy source through metal-hydrogen systems. The first part of the text covers the general concerns with the system, such as getting and utilizing metal hydrides and developing hydrogen permeable metal membranes for the Li/LiH-process. The subsequent articles cover a much more specialized and specific topics, such as diffusion of hydrogen in metals; interaction of hydrogen with structure; hydride properties, formation, and utilization; and hydrogen storage. The book will be of use to scientists, engineers, and technicians who are involved in the research, development, and implementation of alternative energy technology.
