On the contrary, I think ground is therein taken, manifesdy to the disadvantage of revelation, and, to many a mind, by no means tenable. I come now, to the consideration. Of particular passages: always bearing in view, that it is the object of the advocate with whose argument I am at variance, not to inculpate Paradise Lost; but to lexculpate the 9' Mystery.
