The feasibility of in situ combustion technique primarily depends on the oxidation characteristics of candidate reservoir oil eg: the sustainability of the ignition front during the course of process. To understand and determine the feasibility of its application to a given reservoir it's necessary to understand the oxidation behavior of the crude oil, the effect of water on combustion parameters and the effect of combustion front on produced liquid.
