Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Solomon Chamberlain was born in 1788 in Connecticut, the daughter of Joel and Sarah Dean Chamberlain. In 1798 he moved to New York. Solomon married Hopestill or Hope Haskins in 1809. Their children were Polly, Alonzo and Electra. Solomon joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1830. Solomon married a second wife, Emiline Shepherd Waterman. In 1847 Hope died. Solomon moved his family to Utah with the migration of the Latter-Day Saints. In 1848 Solomon married another time, to Terressa Morse. Their children included Sariah. Solomon and Terressa separated in 1858 and in 1859 she married John D. Lee. Solomon married Polly Haskins and was possibly later married to Maria Groves. Solomon died in 1862. Solomon's nephew John Lorum Chamberlin was born in New York in 1808, the son of Solomon's brother John Chamberlin and Lomira Ives. He married Alzora Ward in 1834. John Lorum's children included Charles, Calvin, Morris, Julia and William. After the Civil War the family moved to Kansas. Other localities include Massachusetts, England and Connecticut. .
