Cet exercice se complète d'une activité de psychiatrie de liaison assurant l'articulation entre les patients et les partenaires institutionnels situés dans leur environnement (encadrement pénitentiaire, corps enseignant, protection judiciaire de la jeunesse, institution judiciaire, mission de lutte contre la radicalisation violente et unité de soins somatique). Nous partageons avec eux la responsabilité de tout mettre en oeuvre pour que, conformément à la loi du 18 janvier 1994, l'accessibilité aux soins psychiatriques des détenus soit aussi aisée que pour la population générale. Ces professionnels, en particulier l'encadrement pénitentiaire, sont les interlocuteurs directs des détenus et constituent de ce fait le premier maillon de la chaine les menant vers le soin, mais parfois brisée par des connaissances erronées sur la maladie mentale. De ce constat est né le projet d'un programme de sensibilisation à destination de nos partenaires afin qu'ils puissent contribuer à améliorer la prise en charge psychiatrique des détenus sans pour autant se substituer aux professionnels de santé mentale. Quinze à vingt personnes sont formées chaque trimestre lors de sessions de deux jours se tenant à l'EPSAN sur le site de Brumath. Cette formation, dont l'efficacité pédagogique des premières sessions a été objectivée par une évaluation des acquis, fut très bien accueillie par le public. Après en avoir considéré les enjeux, nous relatons l'élaboration, la mise en oeuvre, et le déploiement de ce programme lors des deux premières sessions de mars et juin 2018. Nous terminons par une réflexion sur les perspectives d'évolution de ce projet.
