Book On the Management of a Parliamentary Election

Download or read book On the Management of a Parliamentary Election written by James Broughton Edge and published by Forgotten Books. This book was released on 2018-01-29 with total page 182 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Excerpt from On the Management of a Parliamentary Election: A Practical Guide, With All the Necessary Forms, Instructions, Notices, Circulars, Etc., Required in the Formation of Committees, and in the Canvass, Nomination, and Election The object of the writer of this little book is to place in the hands of persons unacquainted with the modus operandi of an election a general plan of the work to be done pre liminary to and at an election, with such details as will enable such general plan to be carried out without difficulty. It is hoped that the work may also be found useful to more experienced electioneerers, who will be able to add to or modify its recommendations, to suit their own plans of procedure. It may be stated here that the instructions, forms, &c., contained in the book, are in the main such as have been frequently used in both borough and county elections, and everywhere with the best results. They have also been seen and approved of by some of the leading election agents in England. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
