Book A New Humanity Is Rising

Download or read book A New Humanity Is Rising written by The Aquarian Team and published by Balboa Press. This book was released on 2021-03-19 with total page 176 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We are going through a difficult time presently as we reach the bottom of the involution curve of human history. According to the great cycles of humanity’s development, this descent was intended in order to better know ourselves through matter. These cycles are part of a planetary evolution design under guidance from time immemorial leading us to presently live one of these major cycles of our history. Indeed, we are initiating the evolution phase, the one of rediscovering our essential divine nature. In this work, we invite you to discover your inner temple, to consider alternative medicines, to balance the two eternal principles within each of you, to use the great four sciences of the Initiates, to discover how women hold the keys for a new humanity and, finally, to live your own inner divinity on a daily basis. Already we perceive the dawn of a new day whereby the sun is rising in the consciousness and the warmth of the heart is calling for a deeper connection.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "I pray . . . that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. . . . May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me." --Jesus Christ What if? What if believers of multiple ethnicities manifested the diversity in unity for which Jesus prayed? What if largely separate, homogeneous congregations--which account for nearly 92.5 percent of all churches in the United States--increasingly became connected, multiethnic congregations? What if, at eleven o'clock on Sunday mornings--or whenever believers gather to worship--local congregations were comprised of believing whites, African Americans, Koreans, Hispanics, Romanians, Native Americans, as well as the diverse mosaic of other ethnicities represented in our increasingly multicultural society? Would this not say something about the supernatural character of the gospel of reconciliation we proclaim? Jesus believed it would. That is why after praying for such diversity in unity among his followers, Jesus Christ--the Man for all nations--extended his arms and laid down his life to make it happen. This book, God's New Humanity, examines the biblical-theological vision and motivation for living in response to Jesus' prayer.

Book Wars of the New Humanity Collection One

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This collection comprises books one and two of the Wars of the New Humanity series. Republic Falling: Advent of a New Dawn (book #1) Eden, the utopian motherworld of humanity’s Commonwealth, is a haven of luxury and prosperity. Its inferior counterpart, the planet designated Satellite One, offers only mediocrity to its people, despite the Commonwealth Government’s promises of equality. Now war erupts between humanity’s two planetary habitats, and a young soldier named Randal Scott, alongside his lover, Stacie Spencer, seeks revenge on the man who annihilated his mother and joined the insurrectionists, his own father. Together, they become embroiled in a web of violent conflict, lies, and conspiracies that have Randy questioning both of the combat forces in opposition, the Commonwealth Defense Force and the insurgency known as the Coalition of Rebel Factions. Republic Under Siege: Threat from Within (book #2) The Commonwealth’s domestic war is over, but peace remains elusive. Akane Sugimori, a young colony immigrant from Satellite One, becomes an outcast within Eden’s class system but retaliates, and she aims to recruit Randal Scott, one of Satellite One’s liberators, into a social-justice organization fighting a clandestine war against murderous extremists scheming to preserve the status quo. This character-driven adult science-fiction series explores themes of rebellion, ethics and morality, classism, and revolution. It will appeal to fans of W.C. Bauers, William C. Dietz, David Weber, Nicholas Sansbury Smith, or simply readers looking for thought-provoking fiction that is rife with action and adventure.

Book A Theology for Artisans of a New Humanity Volume 5

Download or read book A Theology for Artisans of a New Humanity Volume 5 written by Juan L. Segundo and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2011-05-13 with total page 155 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A THEOLOGY FOR ARTISANS OF A NEW HUMANITY Volume 1 The Community Called Church Volume 2 Grace and the Human Condition Volume 3 Our Idea of God Volume 4 The Sacraments Today Volume 5 Evolution and Guilt For many generations Christians have considered sin almost exclusively in terms of the individual person: my sins and your sins. These sins, moreover, have been thought to have their roots in our fallen human nature, the consequence of original sin. Recently, however, the bishops and theologians of Latin America have begun to speak of sinful structures, sinful institutions, and even sinful societies. These terms sound rather strange to North American ears, but an understanding of them is vital if Christians here are to live up to their calling to be both prophetic and creative agents for change within their communities-global as well as national. These communities are scarred by sinful structures and sinful institutions, if we but had the eyes to see them as they are. For the love taught and lived by Christ has a creative obligation, in Segundo's phrase: the obligation to move evolution forward into ever more truly human forms and structures. I have come to give life, and that more abundantly. Segundo's reflections on the nature and meaning of that life make Evolution and Guilt a signal contribution to pastoral as well as political theology. It is paramount, however, a breakthrough in Christian moral theology, speaking to the major issues of our times.

Book The Nonviolent Coming of God

Download or read book The Nonviolent Coming of God written by James W. Douglass and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2006-04-01 with total page 255 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this, his most eloquent and far-reaching book, James Douglass explores the haunting parallels between the situation of Jesus and our situation today. Jesus, who lived in anticipation of the impending destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans and suffered from this vision, called urgently for a radical conversion to avert the tragedy. The choice then -- as now -- was between nonviolence and nonexistence. This choice is even more stark in the nuclear age. Whether describing the visions of Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Jr., Archbishop Romero, or the witness of his own community against the White Train carrying warheads across the country, Douglass can discern the sights of a second coming, a nonviolent coming of God. The possibility for a different future depends on a different kind of humanity, renewed and transformed by the nonviolent cross of Christ.

Book Towards a New Human Being

Download or read book Towards a New Human Being written by Luce Irigaray and published by Springer. This book was released on 2019-03-13 with total page 264 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: With my own introduction and epilogue, Towards a New Human Being gathers original essays by early career researchers and established academic figures in response to To Be Born, my most recent book. The contributors approach key issues of this book from their own scientific fields and perspectives – through calls for a different way of bringing up and educating children, the constitution of a new environmental and sociocultural milieu or the criticism of past metaphysics and the introduction of new themes into the philosophical horizon. However, all the essays which compose the volume correspond to proposals for the advent of a new human being – so answering the subtitle of To Be Born: Genesis of a New Human Being. To Be Born thus acts as a background from which each author had the opportunity to develop and think in their own way. As such Towards a New Human Being is part of a longer-term undertaking in which I engaged together and in dialogue with more or less confirmed thinkers with a view to giving birth to a new human being and building a new world. –Luce Irigaray
