Book A MULTICRITERIA MODEL FOR THE SELECTION OF THE TRANSPORT SERVICE PR OVIDER A SINGLE VALUED NEUTROSOPHIC DEMATEL MULTICRITERI A MODEL

Download or read book A MULTICRITERIA MODEL FOR THE SELECTION OF THE TRANSPORT SERVICE PR OVIDER A SINGLE VALUED NEUTROSOPHIC DEMATEL MULTICRITERI A MODEL written by Feng Liua and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 10 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The decision-making process requires, a priori, defining and considering certain factors, especially when it comes to complex areas such as transport management in companies. One of the most important items in the initial phase of the transport process that significantly influences its further flow is decision-making about the choice of the most favorable transport provider. In this paper a model for evaluating and selecting a transport service provider based on a single valued neutrosophic number (SVNN) is presented. The neutrosophic set concept represents a general platform that extends the concepts of classical sets, fuzzy sets, intuitionistic fuzzy sets, and an interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets. The application of the SVNN concept made a modification of the DEMATEL method (Decision-making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory Method) and proposed a model for ranking alternative solutions. The SVNN-DEMATEL model defines the mutual effects of the provider's evaluation criteria, while, in the second phase of the model, alternative providers are evaluated and ranked. The SVNN-DEMATEL model was tested on a hypothetical example of evaluation of five providers of transport services.

Book Algorithms for single valued neutrosophic decision making based on TOPSIS and clustering methods with new distance measure

Download or read book Algorithms for single valued neutrosophic decision making based on TOPSIS and clustering methods with new distance measure written by Harish Garg and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 23 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Single-valued neutrosophic set (SVNS) is an important contrivance for directing the decision-making queries with unknown and indeterminant data by employing a degree of “acceptance”, “indeterminacy”, and “non-acceptance” in quantitative terms. Under this set, the objective of this paper is to propose some new distance measures to find discrimination between the SVNSs. The basic axioms of the measures have been highlighted and examined their properties. Furthermore, to examine the relevance of proposed measures, an extended TOPSIS (“technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution”) method is introduced to solve the group decision-making problems. Additionally, a new clustering technique is proposed based on the stated measures to classify the objects. The advantages, comparative analysis as well as superiority analysis is given to shows its influence over existing approaches.

Download or read book Some Single Valued Neutrosophic Power Heronian Aggregation Operators and Their Application to Multiple Attribute Group Decision Making written by Shuping Zhao and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 26 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The power Heronian aggregation (PHA) operator can use the advantages of power average and the Heronian mean operator, which together could take into account the interrelationship of the aggregated arguments, and therefore alleviate the e ects caused by unreasonable data through considering the support degree between input arguments. However, PHA operators cannot be used to process single-valued neutrosophic numbers (SVNNs), which is significant for extending it to SVNNs.

Book Monitoring the temperature through moving average control under uncertainty environment

Download or read book Monitoring the temperature through moving average control under uncertainty environment written by Muhammad Aslam and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 8 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The existing moving average control charts can be only applied when all observations in the data are determined, precise, and certain. But, in practice, the data from the weather monitoring is not exact and express in the interval. In this situation, the available monitoring plans cannot be applied for the monitoring of weather data. A new moving average control chart for the normal distribution is offered under the neutrosophic statistics. The parameters of the offered chart are determined through simulation under neutrosophic statistics.

Book Dynamics under Uncertainty

Download or read book Dynamics under Uncertainty written by Dragan Pamucar and published by MDPI. This book was released on 2021-09-08 with total page 210 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The dynamics of systems have proven to be very powerful tools in understanding the behavior of different natural phenomena throughout the last two centuries. However, the attributes of natural systems are observed to deviate from their classical states due to the effect of different types of uncertainties. Actually, randomness and impreciseness are the two major sources of uncertainties in natural systems. Randomness is modeled by different stochastic processes and impreciseness could be modeled by fuzzy sets, rough sets, Dempster–Shafer theory, etc.

Book Cosine Distance Measure between Neutrosophic Hesitant Fuzzy Linguistic Sets and Its Application in Multiple Criteria Decision Making

Download or read book Cosine Distance Measure between Neutrosophic Hesitant Fuzzy Linguistic Sets and Its Application in Multiple Criteria Decision Making written by Donghai Liu and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 18 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This paper proposes a neutrosophic hesitant fuzzy linguistic term set (NHFLTS) based on hesitant fuzzy linguistic term set (HFLTS) and neutrosophic set (NS), which can express the inconsistent and uncertainty information flexibly in multiple criteria decision making problems. The basic operational laws of NHFLTS based on linguistic scale function are also discussed. Then we propose the generalized neutrosophic hesitant fuzzy linguistic distance measure and discuss its properties. Furthermore, a new similarity measure of NHFLTS combines the generalized neutrosophic hesitant fuzzy linguistic distance measure and the cosine function is given. A corresponding cosine distance measure between NHFLTSs is proposed according to the relationship between the similarity measure and the distance measure, and we develop the technique for order preference by similarity to an ideal solution (TOPSIS) method to the obtained cosine distance measure.

Book CSsEv Modelling QoS Metrics in Tree Soft Toward Cloud Services Evaluator based on Uncertainty Environment

Download or read book CSsEv Modelling QoS Metrics in Tree Soft Toward Cloud Services Evaluator based on Uncertainty Environment written by Mona Gharib and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 10 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Cloud computing (ClC) has become a more popular computer paradigm in the preceding few years. Quality of Service (QoS) is becoming a crucial issue in service alteration because of the rapid growth in the number of cloud services. When evaluating cloud service functioning using several performance measures, the issue becomes more complex and non-trivial. It is therefore quite difficult and crucial for consumers to choose the best cloud service. The user's choices are provided in a quantifiable manner in the current methods for choosing cloud services. Hence, this study attempts to achieve this objective through construction. decision-making framework so-called cloud services evaluator (CSsEv). The main indicator and its sub-indicators are formed as nodes at levels(n) in tree soft sets (TSSs). Thereafter Single Value Neutrosophic Sets (SVNSs) as branch of neutrosophic sets which conjunction with the Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) technique to facilitate analysis and evaluation process for the available Cloud services providers. Hence, entropy is employed to obtain indicators and sub_indicators’ weights and Complex Proportional Assessment utilizes these weights to facilitate the decision process of selecting optimal ClSPs.

This book was released on 2020-12-01 with total page 15 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Blockchain technology (BT) has become popular in the firms in the present time, however, implementation of BT includes several risk factors from various points of view. Some of these risks can be serious for the processes of firms. These risks should be cautiously recognized and analyzed to reduce the negative impacts of them. Assessment of the risks can be recognized as a multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) problem. In this work, the risks that will occur when implementing BT are assessed by using MCDM methodology built on Single Valued Neutrosophic Sets (SVNSs), Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), and Decision Making and Trial Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) methods.

Book Fuzzy Techniques for Decision Making 2018

Download or read book Fuzzy Techniques for Decision Making 2018 written by José Carlos R. Alcantud and published by MDPI. This book was released on 2020-12-02 with total page 776 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Zadeh's fuzzy set theory incorporates the impreciseness of data and evaluations, by imputting the degrees by which each object belongs to a set. Its success fostered theories that codify the subjectivity, uncertainty, imprecision, or roughness of the evaluations. Their rationale is to produce new flexible methodologies in order to model a variety of concrete decision problems more realistically. This Special Issue garners contributions addressing novel tools, techniques and methodologies for decision making (inclusive of both individual and group, single- or multi-criteria decision making) in the context of these theories. It contains 38 research articles that contribute to a variety of setups that combine fuzziness, hesitancy, roughness, covering sets, and linguistic approaches. Their ranges vary from fundamental or technical to applied approaches.
