Book A Much Closer Look at the King James Holy Bible

Download or read book A Much Closer Look at the King James Holy Bible written by Professor Roy Yonce and published by . This book was released on 2020-10-26 with total page 152 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I am a nine-time reader of the Authorized King James Bible from cover to cover and have completely studied all of its contents. You can decide for yourself as I take you by the hand and disclose over a hundred verses from within the KJ Bible book. As we disclose many discrepancies together. It looks like all the evidence is gathered from one book that it has man's biases of war, killing, rudeness, meanness, not loving, extremely quick hot burning anger tempers with no value in regards to human life. It just can't be any Devine, great wisdom given book from any God of mine. Thank you, Professor Roy Yonce. If one will carefully look with me at the many hundreds of pages in the KJ Bible, one can see many contradictions, mistakes, and errors that no real God would have permitted. It looks like someone before in Biblical times tried to sway the world into believing of a supreme God which takes care of man but modern sciences has slowly proved otherwise. I warn you before reading further, I have laid the chips to fall where they do roll. You will see flat out contradictions that no real God would have ever made if he wrote the KJ Bible. (The King at a certain time destroyed many thousands of religious works of art). He wanted to control all the biblical knowledge to future human generations. Here is the WWW address to many old hidden Scrolls found proving more information for support. http: //en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_Sea_Scrolls

Book The King James Version at 400

Download or read book The King James Version at 400 written by David G. Burke and published by Society of Biblical Lit. This book was released on 2013-10-14 with total page 581 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this collection of essays, thirty scholars from diverse disciplines offer their unique perspectives on the genius of the King James Version, a translation whose 400th anniversary was recently celebrated throughout the English-speaking world. While avoiding nostalgia and hagiography, each author clearly appreciates the monumental, formative role the KJV has had on religious and civil life on both sides of the Atlantic (and beyond) as well as on the English language itself. In part 1 the essayists look at the KJV in its historical contexts—the politics and rapid language growth of the era, the emerging printing and travel industries, and the way women are depicted in the text (and later feminist responses to such depictions). Part 2 takes a closer look at the KJV as a translation and the powerful precedents it set for all translations to follow, with the essayists exploring the translators’ principles and processes (with close examinations of “Bancroft’s Rules” and the Prefaces), assessing later revisions of the text, and reviewing the translation’s influence on the English language, textual criticism, and the practice of translation in Jewish and Chinese contexts. Part 3 looks at the various ways the KJV has impacted the English language and literature, the practice of religion (including within the African American and Eastern Orthodox churches), and the broader culture. Book SUPER CAPS in the King James Holy Bible

Download or read book SUPER CAPS in the King James Holy Bible written by Kevin Mann and published by Independently Published. This book was released on 2019-10-18 with total page 37 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A closer look at"SUPER CAPS"IN THE KING JAMES HOLY BIBLEPreface: The King James AV 1611 Holy Bible (referred to from here on as "the bible") is God breathed, inerrant, (without proven error) supernatural, perfect, and superior to any other piece of literature ever written. There is not another book like it in the world! God has given us his word and words in the English which is the last universal world language just before the Second Coming of the great God and Saviour Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit has reemphasized this truth in my heart and mind countless times since being born again in April 1972. It is "The Scripture" and all other "per-versions" are Satan's at-tempt to pull the wool over the eyes of lazy sheep who will not "Study to shew themselves approved unto God..." (2Tim 2:15) nor will they "Search the scripture..." (John 5:39) but they have willfully fallen victim to the little g "god" of this world, Satan, who blinds the eyes of anyone he can, always bringing doubt and questions in the mind of people concerning the truthfulness and integrity of the word and words of God. Gen. 3:1 "Yea, hath God said...?" This paper is being written with the intent to highlight one of the marvelous "coincidences", as illiterate scoffers would say, found in the text of the bible than is often over-looked by the casual reader and most assuredly it is overlooked by Greek or Hebrew scholars who thinks that they are smart enough to correct God's word. This phenomenon is the placement of words that appear in the bible that are written with all BLOCK CAPITAL letters or what I call "SUPER CAPS". There are twenty five of these occurrences found in the bible and they create their own message within the book of God. They appear to be just "random" (Bible believers know that there is nothing random about the word of God, the Lord has it mapped out beautifully) super capitalized words and phrases throughout the Bible, and number anywhere from one to thirteen words in the cluster. My prayer for you is that this brief paper on the subject will be a benefit to you and will intensify your love for God's word, the King James Holy Bible.By: Kevin Mann, A Saved, King James Bible Believing Baptist, @2013

  • Pages : 115 pages

Download or read book Authorized written by Mark Ward and published by Lexham Press. This book was released on 2018-01-24 with total page 115 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The King James Version has shaped the church, our worship, and our mother tongue for over 400 years. But what should we do with it today? The KJV beautifully rendered the Scriptures into the language of turn-of-the-seventeenth-century England. Even today the King James is the most widely read Bible in the United States. The rich cadence of its Elizabethan English is recognized even by non-Christians. But English has changed a great deal over the last 400 years—and in subtle ways that very few modern readers will recognize. In Authorized Mark L. Ward, Jr. shows what exclusive readers of the KJV are missing as they read God's word.#In their introduction to the King James Bible, the translators tell us that Christians must "heare CHRIST speaking unto them in their mother tongue." In Authorized Mark Ward builds a case for the KJV translators' view that English Bible translations should be readable by what they called "the very vulgar"—and what we would call "the man on the street."

Book Take a Closer Look for Women

Download or read book Take a Closer Look for Women written by Jan Kern and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2007-07-31 with total page 323 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Take a closer look at the Bible you thought you knew Have you noticed that the more you look at something, the less you see it? The same thing can happen with Scripture. You've seen a story or a passage so many times that you overlook its significance: "Our Father, who art in heaven..." "The Lord is my shepherd..." "For God so love the world..." You may know these passages, you may love them, but maybe you've stopped expecting much from them. Take a Closer Look for Women leads you to pause along the familiar (and less well-known) paths of the Bible and say, "I've never noticed this! I've never thought of it this way before!" When you take a closer look at Scripture, you see how rich and deep and multifaceted it is. And you will be inspired - mind, heart, and soul - to apply the beauty of these truths to every area of your life.

Book Mary Misunderstood A Closer Look at the Marys in the Bible

Download or read book Mary Misunderstood A Closer Look at the Marys in the Bible written by Pamela Rose Williams and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2017-11-29 with total page 56 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: There is undoubtedly no other woman's name mentioned more in the Bible than the name of Mary. Whether it is Mary Magdalene, Mary the sister of Martha, the Virgin Mother Mary, or any of several other Marys. Yet, so many Marys in Scripture have left even the most famous of Bible scholars confused. Was Mary Magdalene really a prostitute or the secret wife of Jesus? Was she the same Mary that washed the feet of Jesus with her tears and dried them with her hair? How many Marys stood at the foot of the cross when Jesus died? And what do we really know about the Virgin Mary? Was Jesus her only child? There are so many questions, but no misunderstanding about how each Mary did her part in serving the Lord. Learn from these remarkable women how to put your faith into action as you gain a clearer understanding and vision about your role in God's plan for humanity. We pray that you are inspired as you read along with Pamela Rose through Mary Misunderstood.

Book excerpt: ACloser Look devotionals are intended to encourage the reader to take a closer look at individual scripture passages rather than attempt to read a defined number of Bible chapters each day. Included in this series is a number of devotions on the parables of Jesus. The parables of Jesus were stories similar to metaphors intended to illustrate spiritual lessons. They were used to guide those who believed in Christ into deeper truths of the kingdom of God. Jesus stated that the skeptics would not understand the intended messages. “Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand” (Luke 8:10). Several of the parables in this text are kingdom of heaven parables. The author finds these parables extra special as they give insight into the importance of how men should live just as Jesus taught men to pray—“thy kingdom come”—as man lives in the presence of God’s kingdom and in the presence of His dear Son Jesus Christ. Emmanuel–God with us.

Book Perspectives on a Real Church

Download or read book Perspectives on a Real Church written by Uzziah Anthony Harris and published by iUniverse. This book was released on 2017-07-20 with total page 90 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Will the real church please stand up? We exist in a world of extreme flux and volatilityone that is unpredictable and filled with pain. But why? Could it be that the church who was intended to be a model and beacon of light in the earth has instead become a follower and dispenser of the same ills that malign our landscape? The church, in her pursuit to have church, has somehow lost her way; the church as an institution has exploded (possibly morphing into something not recognized by its author) while the organism has suffered, causing her to forfeit the influence and power and connection she once possessed. In Perspectives on a Real Church, we take a look at what and who the church isboth where she has been and is, currently with the hope of charting a path toward where she could be. This literary work takes a look at what the real church should be and seeks to objectively look at whether or not our church is meeting the standard, as well as what can be done in the places where she needs to step up. One thing is for certain, and that is that the church was created for both goodness and greatness, that she was intended as a radical transformative agent in a context where transformation is much needed. When the church becomes what she was intended, thenand only thencan she be a catalyst for resurgence and revival to both believers and nonbelievers alike. The world in turn, will be a better place more capable of reaching its full potential.

Gen. 3:1 "Yea, hath God said...?" #6 Esther, The Queen, a type of the preserved Jewish remnant (Rev.11:13, 12:17.) who escapes the Anti-Christ (Haman) and is instrumental in preserving the lives of the Jewish people during what the Bible calls the time of Jacob's trouble (13 letters) (Jer.30:7) the great tribulation period (Mat.24:21,29 Rev.7:14) after the tribulation she becomes the bride of Jehovah God in the Millennium (Hos:2:14-23) and gains head of the nations status. Esther was protected by the King (God) and delivered from the total annihilation (during the tribulation) along with all the Jews. Esther was crowned in the seventh year of the King giving her a reign during the last seven years of the time frame that the book covers which is identical to the seven-year tribulation that she depicts. If our calendar were right, we would have just entered into the 7,000th year (7th day) of human history where the Tribulation and Second Advent of the Lord Jesus is to take place, but our calendar has been messed with in history by the Vatican so we do not know the exact year in which we live. But notice that the crowning of Esther AND the appearance of Haman (3:1) a type of the Antichrist takes place AFTER Vashti the Queen (type of the Church) is removed, raptured, from the scene. Esther's name appears 56 times in the book. She is given seven maidens (Gentile friends during the tribulation period) to assist her in the purification process.KEVIN MANN A Saved King James Bible Believing Baptist.

Book Urban Legends of Church History

Download or read book Urban Legends of Church History written by John Adair and published by B&H Publishing Group. This book was released on 2020-10-01 with total page 258 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Urban Legends of Church History surveys forty of the most commonly misunderstood events of church history from the period of the early church through the modern age. While these “urban legends” sometimes arise out of falsehood or fabrication, they are often the product of an exaggerated recounting of actual historical events. With a pastoral tone and helpful explanations, authors John Adair and Michael Svigel tackle legendary misconceptions, such as the early church worshiping on Saturday and the unbroken chain of apostolic succession. Urban Legends of Church History will correct misunderstandings of key events in church history and guide readers in applying principles that have characterized the Christian church since the first century.
