A discussion is presented of modifications made in Griffin's original program (AD-428 303). Emphasis is placed on the reasons for the modifications and their effect on the numerical results. The results of a parametric study (using the computer program) of condensation onset in nitrogen flows are presented and compared with experimental data. Several methods of presenting and correlating condensation onset data are used. One of these produces a remarkable correlation of the numerical results. The comparison between the experimental and numerical data shows that the computer program is able to reproduce satisfactorily the qualitative features of the condensation produced and to yield a relatively good quantitative picture of condensation onset in nitrogen.
