If we let the Pendulum fall from 20 Degrees, and W be let down upon it at the lowestPart of the Vibration, then it will (thus loaded) go but to 10 Degrees i, and when you let it go from 12, if it receives the Weight W at bottom, it will go but to 6. Now to compare together the two Opinions, we must examine, which of.' them gives the Momentum the fame before and after the Reception of W. Ol D O P I N I O Ni New Opinion....
