Under the above motion, Andrew B. Stone, Edgar L. Ware and Wilfred M. Davis were appointed a committee to carry the foregoing resolutions into effect, the result of their efforts being the publication of this book of inscriptions. Numbers of stones were so worn by age and weather that they were not read able and the place was being used as a pasture by for eigners who were occupying the old Lane home.
