Book excerpt: Do you wonder what happens to your consciousness after your body dies? Are you hoping for or believing in an afterlife, but just arent sure? Would you prefer more evidence that leads beyond religion, mediums, or blind faith? Inside youll discover research that suggests consciousness exists outside the human brain and body; insights out-of-body and near-death experiences can provide; how we continue to live after physical death and what to expect; the three types of deaths (or deactivations) and how they affect our awareness; how we spend the period between lives and the importance of a life mission; and ways to come to peace with leaving this life and letting family, friends, or partners go. Navigating this difficult phase in your life and being able to help your loved ones transition can be challenging. We all have to go through it and this book will assist you! If youre curious about exploring lifes most existential questions and what research is available in this field, perhaps because you had to face a serious illness, an accident, the passing of someone close to you, or harbor any fear of dying, this book is for you (Luis Minero, author of Demystifying the Out-of-Body Experience). Personally, I have walked out-of-body in the afterlife, traveling well beyond the horizon of our perceived physical reality during my own near-death experience. So I know that the concepts of OBE and NDE are valid. I welcome this new model and will use it in my work (Alan R. Hugenot, PhD, author of The Death Experience: What it is like when you die).

Book Where does religion end

    Book Details:
  • Author : Marcelo da Luz
  • Publisher : Associação Internacional Editares
  • Release : 2017-08-31
  • ISBN : 8584770909
  • Pages : 465 pages

Download or read book Where does religion end written by Marcelo da Luz and published by Associação Internacional Editares. This book was released on 2017-08-31 with total page 465 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The author's decision to leave religion, after experiencing a profound growth crisis, founded itself in the free action of one, who after walking tenaciously, has extinguished an existential possibility and reached a new realm of understanding about the realities of the consciousness and the universe. The inner freedom encountered to make this kind of decision was the result of a gradual self-confrontation. This author perceived the necessity to dispel the fear associated with questioning his habitual suppositions and to look beyond the limits of the indoctrination he had received. For a long time, while still religious, he named this fearlessness "a quest for wisdom" or "the spirituality of an unsettled heart". Nowadays, in light of the experiences had, he prefers to emphasize the courage to evolve, which requires, five years after the abjuration, the assumption of speaking publicly about the dissidence that was effected. When dissidents of ideologies or institutions start talking or writing about their experiences, it is necessary to observe the kind of motivation and intention implicit in the decision made. The former militant, the former integrant, the former partisan, the former something, in spite of the effort to affirm that they are no longer part of the institution to which they once belonged, may continue to define themselves based on the institution. In this case the person is still a "former" in relation to what they intend to deny. Perhaps, in their eagerness to critically speak out about the reasons underlying their abandonment of a certain idea or organization, they still flaunt the previous condition as a trophy, unfurling the pride of being a "former". The ambiguity in question lies in the fact that the person's point of reference continues to be in the no longer desired way of living or thinking.

Book Barbara Visits a Star

Download or read book Barbara Visits a Star written by Jayme Pereira and published by Associação Internacional Editares. This book was released on 2017-08-29 with total page 40 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This story about Barbara was not invented. It is real. It happened the way described here. This is no fantasy, imagination, legend or fairy tale. It describes a conscious projection, otherwise known as an out-of-body experience. Barbara ́s grandfather (author of this book) researchers this phenomenon. Every night he projects and, from time to time, we meet each other in corners of the universe! If you, as a parent or teacher, have never heard of projection of the consciousness, lucid out-of-body experiences, or astral projections, there is no need to be alarmed. Your son, your daughter, even while in their mother's womb, your spouse, teachers, neighbors, friends of all ages and faiths, sometimes or frequently have "dreamt" of flying, visiting cities, relatives or even other planets. These may not have been dreams but actual projections of the consciousness. Even animals and plants have projections. Human consciousness never dies. It is eternal. When reborn, it uses its four vehicles or bodies: the soma or physical body is the most known and easily perceived by us all. The energosoma or energy body surrounds and permeates the soma. The energosoma is greatly studied in acupuncture, homeopathy, yoga, tai-chi-chuan and other lines of knowledge. We also have an emotional body or psychosoma, a replica of the physical body in appearance, but with different properties (such as permeability, elongation, transfiguration ability, volitation - or floating in the air - among others, related to the extraphysical dimension where this body expresses itself when projected). Finally, we have the mentalsoma or mental body, a shapeless body that stores all consciousness' memories, in addition to its cognitive capacities such as discernment, for example. I invite you to share Barbara's out-of-body experiences with your children, encouraging them to share their own adventures of extracorporeal travels.

Book Towards a science of ideas An inquiry into the emergence evolution and expansion of ideas and their translation into action

Download or read book Towards a science of ideas An inquiry into the emergence evolution and expansion of ideas and their translation into action written by Guido Enthoven and published by Vernon Press. This book was released on 2022-08-02 with total page 328 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Ideas are the basic building blocks that construct the world we live in. Yet despite the abundance of literature on creativity and innovation, there has been little reflection on ideas as such, their nature and their working mechanisms. This book provides foundations for a reflection focused specifically on ideas - what they are, how they emerge, develop, interact, gain acceptance and become translated into actions. In doing so the book moves beyond the mainstream approaches, offering new, promising theoretical angles, presenting original findings and initiating a research agenda for a science of ideas. This book provides a fresh perspective on how to conceptualize and study ideas and their working mechanisms by treating ideas as the main object of the study and by bringing together a group of original thinkers, scholars, and philosophers to move beyond the mainstream academic discourse on creativity and innovation.
