The prophet provides this information for us in concise, epitomized form. Zechariah's visions raced further ahead also, giving specific details of the first and second coming of the Lord Jesus Himself. The current world situation is a scene straight out of Zechariah 12. Christians, Sinners, Jews and Muslims all need to be exposed to this prophecy and draw near to God by it.

Further attention is focused on the transmission of the divine message to Zechariah, with the key question raised of whether a visual or oral impression is described. Tiemeyer's study further demonstrates that Zech 1-6 depicts a three-tier reality. This description seeks to convey the seer's visionary experience to his readers. The future belongs to the dedicated minorities who commit themselves to God and His Word while not despising the day of small things. This is how we face the world of our day.
