Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A treatise in which we find coherent and specific explanations flowing from the direct experience of the V.M. Samael, concerning the true nature of what has been known as "Devil", about the Infra-dimensional Realms of Nature, about Karma or the divine punishments for the sinful souls. A book that comes to update the teachings poured by Dante Alighieri in his immortal work The Divine Comedy. "Dr. Samael Aun Weor, prolific esotericist author and anthropologist, was born amidst the tribulations of a society that was succumbing to materialism and the decadence of all ethical, philosophical and transcendental values. After enormous personal sacrifices, he achieved his personal Self-Realization and dedicated his entire life and his immense work to teaching humanity the path of the true Awakening of Consciousness, traditionally known as Gnosis. Samael Aun Weor delivers, in his more than sixty works and renouncing all personal benefits, hundreds of practices and all the keys (including the Secreto Secretorum) of true esotericism in depth that allows the seeker to discover by himself the answers and experience the results, through a psychological work based on three factors: To be born (alchemically), To Die (to everything illusory) and the Sacrifice for Humanity (to pay our karmic debts). You can find more information about this unrivaled author at www.samael.org." • Author : Plotinus
  • Publisher :
  • Release : 2017-04-14

Download or read book Against the Gnostics written by Plotinus and published by . This book was released on 2017-04-14 with total page 48 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: At least two modern conferences within Hellenic philosophy fields of study have been held in order to address what Plotinus stated in his tract Against the Gnostics and whom he was addressing it to, in order to separate and clarify the events and persons involved in the origin of the term "Gnostic". From the dialogue, it appears that the word had an origin in the Platonic and Hellenistic tradition long before the group calling themselves "Gnostics"--or the group covered under the modern term "Gnosticism"--ever appeared. It would seem that this shift from Platonic to Gnostic usage has led many people to confusion. The strategy of sectarians taking Greek terms from philosophical contexts and re-applying them to religious contexts was popular in Christianity, the Cult of Isis and other ancient religious contexts including Hermetic ones (see Alexander of Abonutichus for an example).Plotinus and the Neoplatonists viewed Gnosticism as a form of heresy or sectarianism to the Pythagorean and Platonic philosophy of the Mediterranean and Middle East. He accused them of using senseless jargon and being overly dramatic and insolent in their distortion of Plato's ontology." Plotinus attacks his opponents as untraditional, irrational and immoral and arrogant. He also attacks them as elitist and blasphemous to Plato for the Gnostics despising the material world and its maker. The Neoplatonic movement (though Plotinus would have simply referred to himself as a philosopher of Plato) seems to be motivated by the desire of Plotinus to revive the pagan philosophical tradition. Plotinus was not claiming to innovate with the Enneads, but to clarify aspects of the works of Plato that he considered misrepresented or misunderstood. Plotinus does not claim to be an innovator, but rather a communicator of a tradition. Plotinus referred to tradition as a way to interpret Plato's intentions. Because the teachings of Plato were for members of the academy rather than the general public, it was easy for outsiders to misunderstand Plato's meaning. However, Plotinus attempted to clarify how the philosophers of the academy had not arrived at the same conclusions (such as misotheism or dystheism of the creator God as an answer to the problem of evil) as the targets of his criticism.

Book excerpt: In 1950, while discussing flying saucers with three other physicists at Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory, Enrico Fermi asked, "Where is everybody?" as if to say, if there is intelligent life elsewhere in the universe, why do we have no proof? For sixty years, scientists and the public have debated the answer to this question, yet none have considered what Samael Aun Weor explains in Cosmic Ships: "We are absolutely sure that the cannibals from Africa and the Amazon also felt very annoyed when they could not manage to capture an explorer. Regarding concrete facts about flying saucers, people want to proceed like cannibals, however, it is clear that the crews of those cosmic ships-who know human savagery very well-are not willing to let themselves be ensnared, since they very well know the fortune that awaits them, that is, the intellectual-loafers would make them prisoners, the ships would be seized and used for war, etc." Logical analysis of the facts demonstrates not only the existence of advanced humanities, but their presence on our planet. There are thousands of documented cases of unexplained ships on our planet, hundreds of cases of governments hiding the facts from the public, and decades of an attempt to encourage the populace to discard the facts as fantasy or foolishness. Through stories from his own experience and analysis of well-known events, Samael Aun Weor shows that much of what we believe about extraterrestrials is false, based on fear, stubborn skepticism, and outright lies. He explains how easy it is for advanced humanities to hide from us, and why they must: because we are so consumed by psychological defects like pride, greed, and envy that we are a danger to ourselves and the universe. It is for this reason that they are here: to understand why we are such savages, and how to help us change for the better. It is time for us to stop trying to capture or destroy them, and welcome their assistance.

It is presented in a bilingual format (English side by side with the original Spanish). It is shares a Gnostic perspective on the Divine Feminine. "Mary knew the Secret Doctrine of the Tribe of Levi. Mary was educated in the august shade of the porticos of Jerusalem, among the nubile foliage of the oriental palmtrees, beneath the shade of which rested the old camel drivers of the desert." "That holy Christic doctrine was preserved in secret within the Mysteries of Egypt, Troy, Rome, Carthage, Eleusis, etc." "The greatest thing that Christ did was to make the old doctrine public on the roads of Jerusalem." "And it was Mary, the Virgin of Carmel, who was designated by Divinity to be the Mother of the Divine Redeemer of the World."
