Daniel Kendig or Kintigh (1775-1845) was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and married Margaret Fisher or Fischer (1778-1854). They were the parents of eight children. In 1837 they moved from Pennsylavania to what became Defiance County, Ohio. Descendants live in Ohio, Indiana and other parts of the United States.
