For mediums, the word originates as boveda (BO-vay-dah). The boveda consists of a grouping of glass goblets representing the spiritual quadrant of each medium. Boveda can also mean hidden treasure box. Indeed, this spiritual cave is a sanctuary from which our entities whisper their messages to us.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The search for a connection with the other side of the veil of life has existed since the first humans began inhabiting our planet. Tons of well written material about establishing this connection have been overwhelming the shelves of our libraries. This provides a visual line of education on the subject. However, the actual techniques begin where the reading ends. Very few books actually instruct new spiritist mediums on the emotions and the physical changes they will experience during the process of establishing themselves as a bridge between the living and the souls around us. Whispers from the Cave delves much deeper into the how, what, and why of mediumship. It is not a question of "having an experience with the dead" rather of establishing permanent connections. The word medium is self-explanatory. It is not a noun, per se. More like a verb...an action that stands in between two worlds as a plank connects two ships across the waters between them. Educating people on true mediumship has always been my primary motivation in all of my writings, as well as my appearances on radio, and speaking publicly. I trust that this book, as well as my other publication, Mesa Blanca: the White Altar, will provide an immersion into mediumship, free of the frills, showmanship, and publicity-driven performance. When people consult a medium, they are often literally putting their lives in your hands. Responsibility is the prime key to unlock a path that will bring blessings of appreciation to both medium and client. If you are dedicated and spiritual to a strong degree, open the pages and listen to the whispers... Born in New York City's borough of The Bronx in 1946, F. Guevara has been a medium all of his life. In particular, the last sixty-odd years have seen him evolve spiritually into the medium he is today. Elder of his own temple, reader, conductor of seances, known as Misas, and a mentor to countless mediums from all walks of life, F. Guevara takes a great pride in his life's word. He has appeared on various radio programs. He currently lives in central Florida, with his wife, grandson, and their little, black Shih-Tzu named-what else-Ebony.

A perfect spooky read! Consumption has ravaged Louise Pinecroft's family, leaving her and her father alone and heartbroken. But Dr. Pinecroft has plans for a revolutionary experiment: convinced that sea air will prove to be the cure his wife and children needed, he arranges to house a group of prisoners suffering from the disease in the caves beneath his new Cornish home. While he devotes himself to his controversial medical trials, Louise finds herself increasingly discomfited by the strange tales her new maid tells of the fairies that hunt the land, searching for those they can steal away to their realm. Forty years later, Hester arrives at Morvoren House to take up a position as nurse to the now partially paralyzed and mute Miss Pinecroft. Hester has fled to Cornwall to try to escape her past, but surrounded by superstitious staff enacting bizarre rituals, she soon discovers her new home may be just as dangerous as her last. Book excerpt: A WHOLE NEW REASON TO MIND THE GAP It begins with a dead body at the far end of Baker Street tube station, all that remains of American exchange student James Gallagher—and the victim’s wealthy, politically powerful family is understandably eager to get to the bottom of the gruesome murder. The trouble is, the bottom—if it exists at all—is deeper and more unnatural than anyone suspects . . . except, that is, for London constable and sorcerer’s apprentice Peter Grant. With Inspector Nightingale, the last registered wizard in England, tied up in the hunt for the rogue magician known as “the Faceless Man,” it’s up to Peter to plumb the haunted depths of the oldest, largest, and—as of now—deadliest subway system in the world. At least he won’t be alone. No, the FBI has sent over a crack agent to help. She’s young, ambitious, beautiful . . . and a born-again Christian apt to view any magic as the work of the devil. Oh yeah—that’s going to go well.

They are the families considered worthy of a listing in the exclusive Green Book—a discriminative diary created by the niece of Edith Roosevelt’s social secretary. Their aristocratic bloodlines are woven into the very fabric of Washington—generation after generation. Their old money and manner lurk through the cobblestone streets of Georgetown, Kalorama and Capitol Hill. These parents and their children live life free of consequences in a gilded existence of power and privilege. But what they have failed to understand is that the world is changing. And when the family of one of their own is held hostage and brutally murdered, everything about their legacy is called into question. They’re called The Cave Dwellers.
