Download or read book Mohamed Salah KING MO SALAH written by Lukaku and published by Independently Published. This book was released on 2021-10-26 with total page 104 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I remember watching Salah for the first time back in 2015-16 when Roma played Real Madrid in UCL R-16. He was a constant nuisance for Ramos and Marcelo on the right. His pace and dribbling troubled Real Madrid's defense all night at Bernabeu and I was highly impressed. The talent and potential were there. However, his finishing let him down on so many occasions in that game. 2 years later, Mohammed Salah is tearing apart Premier League defenses scoring an incredible 23 goals in the league already. His finishing has improved vastly and he is now a complete package. Klopp's system has helped Salah reach his full potential and he is among the best attackers in Europe right now(I am not exaggerating) Liverpool fans love him and he is already a legend in Egypt after helping them qualify for the World Cup in 2018. I think he is excellent and obviously, there is a lot of media coverage about his season. This will obviously continue all the time he keeps scoring. He always did look like he had great potential. I remember a few seasons ago in Europe, around 2012 and 2013, there were two players that gave Chelsea no end of problems when we played them. One was Willian, the other was Salah. I was obviously very pleased when we bought both of them and it was a shame when Salah left but his opportunities were limited with the likes of Hazard, Oscar, Willian, and Schürrle competing for two positions. No doubt he is a better player now than he was then, regular football has helped him reach his potential. What we don't know yet is whether next year will be a flash in the pan or if he will keep playing to the same level or even better. Often after a good season, the next one is much more difficult. Opposition teams start to work you out, pay more attention to stopping your play, and so forth so we will have to see how things go for him next year, but I wish him well, he is an exciting player to watch. However. this season in Liverpool is going well with the African best player at the moment. Having exceeded Didier Drogba who netted 105 goals in 254 matches during his stay in Chelsea. Mo Salah of course as of 24th October 2021 has scored 2 goals in Chelsea and 105 in Liverpool, totaling 107 goals in 167 matches JOIN THE ANALYSIS NOW

Book excerpt: This is the story of the new King of the Kop. When Mohamed Salah signed for Liverpool from Rome in 2017, his record fee was initially greeted with some skepticism. While he'd been singled out as a future star back in Egypt, and performed well at the Italian club, no one could have predicted the impact he was to have at Anfield. Scoring an unprecedented thirty-two goals in thirty-six games for the club, he became the sensation of the Premier League. Not only that, but he has also won over fans of all stripes with his humility and grace off the pitch, as well as his versatility and flair on it. Few players have inspired such fervent admiration so quickly, with chants of his name still reverberating around Anfield, and after just a short time, he has already become a Liverpool legend. In this insightful biography, bestselling sports writer Frank Worrall examines Salah's electrifying journey, from the highs and lows that brought him to Anfield to the Champions League glory that crowned the 2018/19 season.

Book American Islamophobia

Download or read book American Islamophobia written by Khaled A. Beydoun and published by Univ of California Press. This book was released on 2018-04-03 with total page 264 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: On Forbes list of "10 Books To Help You Foster A More Diverse And Inclusive Workplace" How law, policy, and official state rhetoric have fueled the resurgence of Islamophobia—with a call to action on how to combat it. “I remember the four words that repeatedly scrolled across my mind after the first plane crashed into the World Trade Center in New York City. ‘Please don’t be Muslims, please don’t be Muslims.’ The four words I whispered to myself on 9/11 reverberated through the mind of every Muslim American that day and every day after.… Our fear, and the collective breath or brace for the hateful backlash that ensued, symbolize the existential tightrope that defines Muslim American identity today.” The term “Islamophobia” may be fairly new, but irrational fear and hatred of Islam and Muslims is anything but. Though many speak of Islamophobia’s roots in racism, have we considered how anti-Muslim rhetoric is rooted in our legal system? Using his unique lens as a critical race theorist and law professor, Khaled A. Beydoun captures the many ways in which law, policy, and official state rhetoric have fueled the frightening resurgence of Islamophobia in the United States. Beydoun charts its long and terrible history, from the plight of enslaved African Muslims in the antebellum South and the laws prohibiting Muslim immigrants from becoming citizens to the ways the war on terror assigns blame for any terrorist act to Islam and the myriad trials Muslim Americans face in the Trump era. He passionately argues that by failing to frame Islamophobia as a system of bigotry endorsed and emboldened by law and carried out by government actors, U.S. society ignores the injury it inflicts on both Muslims and non-Muslims. Through the stories of Muslim Americans who have experienced Islamophobia across various racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic lines, Beydoun shares how U.S. laws shatter lives, whether directly or inadvertently. And with an eye toward benefiting society as a whole, he recommends ways for Muslim Americans and their allies to build coalitions with other groups. Like no book before it, American Islamophobia offers a robust and genuine portrait of Muslim America then and now.
