Stable oscillation of plasma waves is also presented in dissipative plasmas. The book is meant for undergraduate and postgraduate students studying plasma physics. Invention of the tandem mirror has given magnetic confinement a new and exciting dimension. Radiofrequency heat ing has become a new star with its promise of dc current drive.
