By his blood, you can pray to invite Jesus into your heart. If you do this, he will become your personal Lord and Savior. If you confess with your mouth,"Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,you will be saved (Romans 3:23-5:8, 6:23-10:10).The gospel is the good news of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ,of whom the Bible declares, "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved"(Acts 4:12). And Jesus said of himself: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6).Why is this such wonderful news? It provides full and free deliverance from the power and penalty of sin. This is according to the grace of God alone through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for it is "by grace you have been saved,through faith" (Eph 2:8-10). However, in the Gospel of Luke, Jesus warns,"I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish" (Lk13:3). If you simply turn from your sins by turning to the cross, you will experience the renewal that the Holy Spirit brings. Believe in your heart thatChrist died and rose again. That is faith in God.The only way you can be saved is by accepting His free gift of eternal life.
