Book The Prophecy of Ra Uru Hu

Download or read book The Prophecy of Ra Uru Hu written by Steve Rhodes and published by CreateSpace. This book was released on 2015-01-15 with total page 526 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In January 1987, Robert Alan Krakower, a former media producer and magazine publisher from Canada, had a mystical encounter on the Mediterranean island of Ibiza that lasted eight days and eight nights. During this time he did not eat, drink, or sleep. He received information about our universe, the design of all living forms, and most importantly, about a mutation in the human body that will lead to the emergence of a new species, the Rave, in 2027. With it, the evolutionary program will turn its back on humanity. The Industrial Revolution and the nation states as we know them will come to an end.The coming Rave will look human on the outside, but will have little in common with us. In fact, Raves will appear severely disabled. But the moment three of them come together they turn into “one being” with a shared consciousness that can do things that are unimaginable to us humans.Krakower was told the universe is an unborn living entity and that life in Earth will come to an end in about 1,200 years when it will be hit by a meteor. There will be no more biological life after Earth. However, this will be the beginning of yet another journey for us through the solar system with the emergence of the Eron. It will not eat or breathe. It will not die. And it will live as long as the universe exists.

Book The Royal Inscriptions of Esarhaddon King of Assyria 680 669 BC

Download or read book The Royal Inscriptions of Esarhaddon King of Assyria 680 669 BC written by Erle Leichty and published by Penn State Press. This book was released on 2011-06-23 with total page 389 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Royal Inscription of Esarhaddon, King of Assyria (680–669 BC) is the inaugural volume of the Royal Inscriptions of the Neo-Assyrian Period Project. The volume provides reliable, up-to-date editions of all of the known royal inscriptions of Esarhaddon, a son of Sennacherib who ruled Assyria for twelve years (680–669 BC). Editions of 143 firmly identifiable texts (which mostly describe successful battles and the completion of building projects, all done ad maiorem gloriam deorum), 29 poorly preserved late Neo-Assyrian inscriptions that may be attributed to him, and 10 inscriptions commissioned by his mother Naqia (Zakutu) and his wife Esharra-hammat are included. To make this corpus more user-friendly to both specialist and laymen, each text edition (with its English translation) is supplied with a brief introduction containing general information, a catalogue containing basic information about all exemplars, a commentary containing further technical information and notes, and a comprehensive bibliography (arranged chronologically from earliest to latest). The volume also includes: (1) a general introduction to the reign of Esarhaddon, the corpus of inscriptions, previous studies, and dating and chronology; (2) translations of the relevant passages of three Mesopotamian chronicles; (3) 19 photographs of objects inscribed with texts of Esarhaddon; (4) indexes of museum and excavation numbers and selected publications; and (5) indexes of proper names (Personal Names; Geographic, Ethnic, and Tribal Names; Divine, Planet, and Star Names; Gate, Palace, Temple, and Wall Names; and Object Names). The book is accompanied by a CD-ROM containing transliterations of selected inscriptions arranged in a ‘musical score’ format. The Royal Inscriptions of the Neo-Assyrian Period (RINAP) series will present up-to-date editions of the royal inscriptions of a number of late Neo-Assyrian rulers, beginning with Tiglath-pileser III (744–727 BC). This new series is modeled on the publications of the now-defunct Royal Inscriptions of Mesopotamia (RIM) series and will carry on where its RIMA (Royal Inscriptions of Mesopotamia, Assyrian Periods) publications ended. The project is under the direction of G. Frame (University of Pennsylvania) and is supported by the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The book Presargonic Period (2700-2350 BC) provides editions of all known royal inscriptions of kings who ruled in ancient Mesopotamia down to the advent of King Sargon of Akkad. Most of the inscriptions come from the city states of Lagsh and Umma; inscriptions from other sites are rather poorly attested. The volume includes a handful of new inscriptions recently uncovered in Iraq. Information on museum numbers, excavation numbers, provenances, dimensions, and lines preserved in the various exemplars are displayed for multi-exemplar texts in an easy-to-read tabular form. Also included in several commentary sections are notes on the find-spots of the inscriptions from Lagas and references about various toponymns to be discussed in a forthcoming study of the author on the geography of Lagas and Umma provinces. Indexes of museum numbers, excavation numbers, and concordances of selected publications complete the volume.
