Download or read book Sampled Data Control Systems written by Jürgen Ackermann and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2012-12-06 with total page 611 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The first German edition of this book appeared in 1972, and in Polish translation in 1976. It covered the analysis and synthesis of sampled-data systems. The second German edition of 1983 ex tended the scope to design, in particular design for robustness of control system properties with respect to uncertainty of plant parameters. This book is a revised translation of the second Ger man edition. The revisions concern primarily a new treatment of the finite effect sequences and the use of nice numerical proper ties of Hessenberg forms. The introduction describes examples of sampled-data systems, in particular digital controllers, and analyzes the sampler and hold; also some design aspects are introduced. Chapter 2 reviews the modelling and analysis of continuous systems. Pole shifting is formulated as an affine mapping, here some n~w material on fixing some eigenvalues or some gains in a design step is included. Chapter 3 treats the analysis of sampled-data systems by state space and z-transform methods. This includes sections on inter sampling behavior, time-delay systems, absolute stability and non synchronous sampling. Chapter 4 treats controllability and reach ability of discrete-time systems, controllability regions for con strained inputs and the choice of the sampling interval primarily under controllability aspects. Chapter 5 deals with observability and constructability both from the discrete and continuous plant output. Full and reduced order observers are treated as well as disturbance observers.

Download or read book Synthesis of Feedback Systems written by Isaac M. Horowitz and published by Elsevier. This book was released on 2013-10-22 with total page 741 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Synthesis of Feedback Systems presents the feedback theory which exists in various feedback problems. This book provides techniques for the analysis and solution of these problems. The text begins with an introduction to feedback theory and exposition of problems of plant identification, representation, and analysis. Subsequent chapters are devoted to the application of the feedback point of view to any system; the principal useful properties of feedback; the feedback control system synthesis techniques; and the class of two degree-of-freedom feedback configurations and synthesis procedures appropriate for such configurations. The final chapter considers how to translate specifications from their typical original formulation, to the language appropriate for detailed design. The book is intended for engineers and graduate students of engineering design.

Download or read book DSP Based Testing of Analog and Mixed Signal Circuits written by Matthew Mahoney and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 1987-05-11 with total page 272 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Answers the commonly asked questions about how digital signal processing-based machines work and what role DSP plays in the process. It shows you how DSP performs in real-test situations and uses mathematical concepts rather than derivations. The text addresses difficult test problems and their solutions resulting from the union of automatic test equipment (ATE) and DSP. The author establishes a philosophy of DSP-based testing describing how to think, how to approach a problem, how to create a solution, and how to determine if it really works properly.
