Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Princess Penelope finds her way into an Inner Kingdom inside the earth where she discovers that all the beautiful things in the Outer World—color, good smells and tastes, dance, the rhythm of the seasons, the laws of the Universe like gravity, the ability to dream, and even the ability to heal—are all ruled by Elementals (fairy creatures) who initiate beauty, harmony, and grace in the Outer World. Her brother, Kam, is tricked into going into the Inner Kingdom with a magical gun that can actually destroy the elementals, convinced that he is the prophesized “Wing One,” a child of royal birth with magical powers. Penny has the ability to talk to animals and also these elementals. She goes into this Inner Kingdom to repair the damage her brother is heaping on the spirits because as he destroys the elementals, the Outer World starts to collapse. Through her journey she discovers that she has the powers within her to help every creature she meets on her pathway. Through her journey of learning about compassion, courage, intuitive communication, selfless generosity, unconditional love, and true friendship, she finds her own strength and in the process restores both the Inner and Outer worlds to a new level of beauty and harmony. The Winged One is, in short, a spiritual manual to help children find true meaning in life and discover their interconnectedness with Nature and how they can contribute to the world.

Book Conversations With Dr Reimar Horten and His All Wing Designs Ho 1 to Ho 229 Part 2

Download or read book Conversations With Dr Reimar Horten and His All Wing Designs Ho 1 to Ho 229 Part 2 written by David Myhra PhD and published by RCW Technology & Ebook Publishing. This book was released on 2013-09-27 with total page 189 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In February of 1982, I flew to Buenos Aires then on to Cordoba, Argentina to meet with Dr Reimar Horten, (1915-1994) the designer of a series of sail and powered all wing flying machines. He lived in retirement on a ranch 15 to 20 miles from the small town of Villa General Belgrano. After an over night flight from Miami,Florida I arrived at the Cordoba. Reimar Horten, with a full head of white hair, met me and we drove off to his ranch in a white Ford pickup truck. Reimar had total recall. I have met only two such people in my life. We spoke only in English and our conversations were recorded on cassette tapes...which several years later I donated to the National Air & Space Museum library. After several days of speaking only English, Reimar was speaking English to everyone, his wife, helpers on his ranch, shop keepers in Villa General Belgano, and families he'd meet walking on the road into town when he offered them a ride in the back of his truck. Few English-speaking people ever visited this remote area of Argentina at the foot hills of Andes Mountains. His wife, Gisela ,frequently had to remind her husband that all these Argentines had no idea of what he was saying to them so please speak Spanish. I lived at the Horten ranch for one month recording my conversation with Reimar Horten. I returned the following year (1983) for another month. Our two month conversation resulted in 86 two hour taped cassettes. The material presented in this volume (a second volume contains conversations with Walter Horten over numerous visits to his home in Baden Baden, West Germany) has been used in my five copyrighted books on the Horten Brothers. I thank them immensely and now the world hears their voice, their personal struggles, failures, as well as their successes in seeking to perfect the performances of the all-wing aircraft.

Book excerpt: Books 7-9 of 9 Part Lizard Queen Series 300 years ago, in a nameless world, a prophecy passed unfulfilled. A secret society that formed to prevent its occurrence believed it was their doing, while the secret society created to ensure that the prophecy came to pass wasn’t certain it had been stopped at all. Eventually, the prophecy of Lacáruna, a female from another realm and the only being who can read the Lizard Queen’s language, fell into legend. What no one realizes, however, is that Amy Darlidale is just a tad late. TIME GOES ROUND With all of the Extiguos now in their possession, Amy and her friends feel they are close to discovering the truth, but hope they aren’t running out of time. They become aware that both opposing factions behind the Lacáruna prophesy are convening while the militaries of the surrounding nations converge. Aided by a powerful new weapon, Amy’s protectors feel more empowered to overcome any remaining obstacles. But everyone has changed and each must struggle to accept the truth of their evolving principles. Despite the set backs and the struggles Amy, however, grows more confident that they are on the right path because she’s found a way to see her surroundings in a new light. WE ARE THE WAKING Although she’s unable to finish reading the final Extiguo to determine her role in bringing about the New Morphósis, Amy Darlidale quickly learns that Runakopolis puts her and her friends on the threshold of another major discovery. A new mystery seems to hold clues to the origins of the Trotéjo and the Arañalianza. Beginning to sense that the ideologies at conflict have been preserved not only by clergy and government but also by culture, Amy is drawn into an enigmatic society of scholars. At first, pages missing from library books and a new theory about the first Morphósis don’t seem to be connected to the Lacáruna prophecy, but the lines of military, church, and academia continue to intersect and familiar faces and adversaries reemerge. Rumors of war are spreading quickly, and whispers that La Arañota will soon rise again are amplifying. This world seems on the verge of shrinking much faster than anyone anticipated. ROOT OF THE RULE The surrounding nations are gathering for a war against Pliada, the Trotéjo and the Arañalianza are assembling before the mountain upon which La Reina’s castle sits, and stakes have never been higher. The quest to learn how Amy Darlidale must bring about the New Morphósis has brought her full circle and the truth about her destiny as Lacáruna finally seems within reach. But much blood continues to be shed as all sides race toward the inevitable conclusion of the journey. Amy must summon forces from deep within if she is to save this world—or is it too late?
