While this is a relatively small volume, it is packed with divine truth, written by a master of the devotional life. The book must be read and reread slowly, allowing the Spirit of God to penetrate one's heart with this biblically-based truth. As Christians, we are exhorted to "imitate the faith" of those worthies who have gone before us (Heb. 13:8).
